I've been meaning to try this place out for about 3 months now and finally did so this past weekend. Man am I glad I did! This place is legit! Very well kept restaurant with much more room inside than you would think when driving by. The service was great as the server continually checked on my party to ensure we had everything we needed and were satisfied. At one point, one of the owners actually came out to ensure we were happy as well. He was very nice and was genuinely happy that we were happy. This restaurant makes EXCELLENT food! I started with the Mexican Street Corn, which they serve on the cob. Most places tend to serve this off the cob in a bowl. It is much better on the cob (and more traditional) For an entree I went with the Birria Quesa Tacos (Beef) and a side of rice. I also ate the beans that came with my nephews meal when he decided he didn't want them. Oh my god, those tacos are amazing!!!! For dessert I ordered Churros to share. It comes with 6 churros and a nice scoop of ice cream. Awesome!!! The food was all very well done and tasted great, while being very affordable as well. This is a great find and I intend to return with my wife as well as on my own whenever I get a chance!!! Give them a try. This is the type of local business that you want to support and keep around for a...
Read moreOur 2nd time here earned them only 2 stars for the poor staff and kitchen service. We were a party of three and were the only customers there. Ordered 2 apps but they brought us only the first app and we waited 5 minutes then I had to wave someone over to give us plates. 2nd app came 10 minutes later. They then brought us 1 of the 3 entrees, fajitas missing the tortillas. Took another 10 minutes for the 2nd fajita entree to arrive. When asked for tortillas the brought us only 2, one for each entree. By then the fajitas were cold. One person in our party ordered coffee but when asked for a refill it never arrived. One person ordered a margarita but it tasted like it was made with some cheap mix.
Food was good but wait staff service was horrible. Kitchen can only make 1 dish at a time so dont expect to be able to eat at the same time as your other guests. If drinking stick with beer. Sorry to say that we won't be back.
1st trip 6 months earlier. Excellent fresh made food. Reasonable prices. Great service. Small friendly local restaurant with authentic food. My only minor complaint is the watery salsa which for a slob like me means that I was wearing half of it, lol. Not noisy or cramped. Will...
Read moreWe had the most disappointing experience at Iguana's last evening. My margarita was not drinkable. My husband's vodka and soda water was almost straight up alchohol.
The two appetizers that we ordered showed up 20 minutes apart from each other and we had a hard time getting the staffs attention to request small plates as there were three of us sharing the appetizers.
My overcooked chiken fajita came out 25 minutes before the other two meals came out. When I finally asked the server to bring out my wraps so I could start eating before my meal got cold she walked away.
When my husband and son did receive their food we had to ask for the wraps again and only two were brought to the table. The waitress argued with us when my husband asked for his.
This was our second visit and our son has gone several times. The owner was not present in the front of the house last night and I wonder if that is why the experience was so horrible. The first time we went it was great. The owner greeted our son as he remembered him. The server we had suggested some great food and food came out together.
Based on the horrible experience we had last night we will not go back....
