I go here for fresh goat meat. I am glad that this is the only place in entire new England where we find fresh goat meat. I appreciate it very much. I saw some past reviews from customers saying meat was not good. Of course they go bad, they are dead animal and they smell. Rather than leaving bad review on Google , go talk to management, give them suggestions. Appreciate the fact that they are local small business still operating during pandemic. They are not big supermarkets. They don’t have enough budget and staffs to check expiry on each and everything. Help each other do better and grow together. This review is specifically for the butcher who overcharges customers by billing the wrong items. I clearly saw the prices for lamb and goat listed separately in the meat section. I specifically asked for lamb shoulder, and he even picked the correct one — but when weighing it, he billed it at the goat shoulder price, which is higher.

When I questioned him about the difference, he claimed it was goat after cutting it into pieces. This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed this happening, I used to think it might have been a mistake, but today it became clear it’s intentional.

@Manager @Owner — please address this issue seriously. Find honest ways to make money, not by misleading or overcharging...

Absolutely Disgusting – Stay Away!

This place is a nightmare! A month ago, I bought a bread from Spice Center, and it was covered in mold. When I called to complain, they rudely told me it wasn’t their problem. Against my better judgment, I tried them again today, and surprise, surprise – the cheese on the pastry I bought was moldy! When I called again, they had the nerve to tell me, once more, that it wasn’t their problem. How is selling expired, moldy food not their problem? I’ve thrown away my money twice, and I’m furious.
