Wonderful romantic dinner date afterwards you can go by Auburn lake and enjoy the moon over the lake. The food was superb. After looking over the menu did not see exactly what I wanted so I asked if the raw bar tower could be cooked. No problem they said. When it arrived I was pleasantly shocked. Fresh, excellently seasoned lobster, shrimp, trout, salmon, oysters, clams and more, with four dipping sauces. The owner Ann was delightful as she came by and made the evening even more memorable. She came over with three extra sauces for the seafood. Try the smoked pastrami salmon with red wine vinegarette with pickled onion sauce. The lobster was savory. Try the tuna with a Jamaican ranch or a wasabi maynaise sauce. The oysters with the vinegarette and fresh leaf lettuce was succulent. My wife had the steak with a hollandaise sauce which was tender, juicy, and tasty morsel with grilled shrimp, tasty rice pilaf, vegetable au Pau and potatoes. Oh, do not forget the appetizer which was was colorful tortillas with a very appetizing artichoke, spinach and shrimp sauce. Nicole was a wonderful waitor that made the night a very memorable and seldom experienced evening.

The food was good. The young lady who served us was nice but seemed to be anxious for us to leave - "Are you done?" "Do you need anything else?" "Are you done?" I was ready to leave but my relatives wanted to talk and talk and talk. Guess if we were younger, cooler and drinking lingering around would not have been a problem. I personally like the Crown Tavern restaurant across the street more. Their food is good and the interior is elegant. There are not plastic tables and chairs leaning against the walls ruining the ambiance ... being sober one notices things. UPDATE: Decided to give the restaurant another try because the food was really good. This time there were no plastic tables or chairs in sight. Did not feel "rushed" by the waitress. The food even tasted better. Glad we went back. UPDATE: Went back one last time before heading back to San Antonio. The fish and shrimp basket was GREAT! The red-haired waitress was the BEST! Found a new favorite restaurant in New Hampshire.

I’ve heard great things about Ignite and finally had the chance to visit with several friends over this past weekend. The atmosphere was decent and the staff was very friendly. For appetizers we ordered the oysters, bayou wings, and the mussels. Everything was delicious except for the bits of shell in each oyster. As far as entrees, I ordered the Swordfish with two colossal shrimp, pineapple salsa, and spinach over rice. This was a featured special that evening. In my opinion the flavors did not mesh that well together. I love all of the ingredients of the dish individually, but combined I was not a fan. My wife ordered the chicken la Rosa. Her food was much better and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall a good experience and I will probably return, however, I expected more after hearing so many positive reviews.

Had a weird experience here tonight. I would overall not recommend going here and will not be going back myself.

Arrived for our reservation and hostess ignored us for several other parties that arrived after us. Once finally greeted we were told to wait in several different areas before finally being seated 15 minutes after our reservation time.

Got drinks and ahi tuna app which were both good. Wife’s drink was bad which bartender seemed to not know the recipe (French 75 fairly common cocktail) but didn’t ask us either and made something not even close to it.

Main course was terrible. Got the Cioppino based upon prior recommendations. Several muscles and a clam were dead and not opened. For the price I’m surprised they were served to me. The shrimp was very clearly over cooked as it was very hard and tough. It was served with bread that was undercooked and slightly doughy. Scallops and haddock was good.

Manager came by and comped the meal which was good but didn’t offer to make anything else which was odd. They whisked away my meal and I was just kind of awkwardly left with nothing in front of me and the check for my drinks and app. Wanted to share an honest summation of my...

We made a reservation for dinner and showed up on time and waited about 5 minutes before the owner Anne (short gray hair) acknowledged we were standing at the hostess stand and came over and asked if we had a reservation. We said yes and she said “we’ll get something ready for you soon”. There was an empty table outside so I thought this was odd but brushed it off. We then waited another 20 mins while she walked by us continuously and would stop to CHAT with the people outside, completely disregarding the fact that we were still waiting for a table that should have been RESERVED for us. They also don’t have any limit to the amount of time people dine and they won’t tell people that there is someone else with a reservation waiting. She then started moving people indoors because of potential rain, making things far more claustrophobic. So after 20 mins of standing there and being blatantly ignored, we left. If you’re not going to treat your customers properly, especially when they take the curtesy to make a reservation during busy times, then don’t own...
