The Rex Theatre — Attraction in Manchester

My husband & I recently went to a show at the Rex. We had bought a Christmas gift before the show & placed it under our seat. On our way home we realized that we had left without the gift. We immediately called & the kind person who answered took my number & said she would call back. 10 minutes later, we received a call that they could not find the gift. We had already turned around & were heading back to the theater. When we arrived everyone, from the manager of the Rex to the person in charge of the show were looking & trying to help. My husband was allowed to go back into the theater with the manager & was able to locate the gift exactly where we had left it. We will definitely be back to see more shows at the Rex in the future. We are members of the Palace/The Rex theaters and we LOVE THEM!! Best place to see a show in S NH! I encourage everyone to try first hand and to become members to support our local theaters. For $100 you can become a member and with that, you are awarded 2 free tickets to the show of your choice, worth at least $100! Then, throughout the year, you can see amazing shows, and sometimes they send out last minute “see it for free” notifications to members. The quality of the plays are top notch! I liked this venue, nice location with lots of free parking around the parks nearby, and a very good use of space inside. The chairs were folding chairs, however, they had at least 5" of cushioning on the seat, and it was just as comfortable as sitting on my couch at home. One big oversight was with the bars machine. At a concert it may not matter, but at a comedy show, a loud beep every couple minutes really messed up the comedians flow, and he addressed it multiple times to no avail.
