SEE Science Center — Attraction in Nottingham

We had a great time with our 2.5 year old. My husband and I were worried that it might be geared towards older kids - and to a degree a lot of it is - however, there were MANY activities for toddlers that were absolutely captivating to our daughter. There was a kitchen station, a modular ball and tube station, a bubble station, and a dinosaur fossil dig station that were mesmerizing to her… just to name a few. This is definitely a grow and learn museum, and I can definitely see our daughter gravitating to new things each time we visit as she gets older and becomes more interested in the activities that are a ‘level up’. Also, something that is absolutely worth mentioning - military families pay half admission, and kids 3 and under are free. I gave it a 3 stars because I’m pretty sure my oldest daughter is having fun in her field trip. Came as a chaperone to one my kids field trip. I have 4 kids with no one to watch my smallest 2 & 4. I Had to park & get the kids ready so they went in before when arrived was told place was closed but my daughters school was inside I explained them I was with them they said to wait outside & come back after 10 since there was not much to do with my smallest kids. I was visiting my family in the area and my dad decided to take my family and I to this museum. I have a 2 year old and a 16month old and we were blown away by all the interactive exhibits! Not only did my kids have fun but everything was fun for us too! What put the icing on the cake though was the staff. I unfortunately left my diaper bag there and didn’t realize it until we had gotten back to my parents house. When I called to ask about it, the woman offered to drive it to our home about 30 minutes away and she did! I have never experienced such kindness from a stranger. Amazing staff, amazing experience!
