Should have option to choose zero stars. 10.26.25, At McDonald's, 907 Second St in Manchester, I ordered breakfast at 10:21 on the App, arrived at 10:28 (after waiting in a line of about 4 cars) at the drive thru speaker & was told to advance to 2nd window with several cars still ahead of me. Arrived at pickup window at 10:35 & was told my order was canceled by the App due to it now being past the breakfast deadline of 10:30. After being told by the manager there was nothing they could do about the App canceling my order & after leaving the drive thru window, I realized I should have asked for a receipt, so I drove back to the drive thru & waited in line again. The same manager refused to give me a receipt for the cancellation & said my refund may take up to 24 hours to post. I then asked the incompetent manager for a written note in case a refund was not received, which she reluctantly gave me. It's now been 3 days, and still no refund has been issued. The order charge for $19.27 posted on 10/28/25. On 10/29/25, per my phone call with Patricia at Citizens Bank, a refund was issued to me for $19.27. If I hadn't called my bank, I would probably still be waiting for the refund. In my opinion, if a breakfast order is placed & paid for before 10:30, it should be honored/fulfilled, even if the staff doesn't feel like making it, or they take forever to make it. Management should also be more helpful/competent. I even showed the receipt for my order on the App, that had a timestamp of 10:21, which made no difference to the manager. Read moreOh my... where to begin. I get that this restaurant is McDonald's, and it's "fast food, but, by far this is the absolute worst McDonald's, I've ever been to. The franchise owner should be embarrassed.
First, drive thru...I was there at 630pm on a weeknight, come to find out, the manager was the only one cooking in the kitchen. I only know this, as, the "employee" had to get the manager, because she was clueless, about the McDonald's app. Needless to say, it was a very long wait, from when I ordered, to when I got my food. One would of thought, that the food will be perfect, with the amount of time I waited, right? Absolutely WRONG!! Which brings me to my next point... the food.
The food was being made by the manager as I previously stated. My large fry was 3/4 empty, soggy, dripping grease. The 2 orders of chicken nuggets were burned to a crisp, tossed in the nugget boxes, hanging out, as they didn't bother, to put the boxes together. The quarter pounder featured a burnt bun, a dab of ketchup, a few onion shards, and my personal favorite... a half of one pickle shred. The big Mac, barely had lettuce or sauce and there was no onion on it.
So if you are looking for the food in the McDonald's ads... this is not the place! Save your money and your time.... clearly, the franchise owner really doesnt care. This place has been going downhill for...

Edit: Not sure if a power that be read this review, but they've updated their Google page to reflect accurate times (5am to 2am) and the restaurant was open at 1:40 am.
Now that I've eaten here, some thoughts:
Always super busy, better than your usual Manchester parking lot in terms of accessibility and ease of access.
It's McDonald's, the food here is okay. Fries were fresh and salted but the regular meat definitely was past it's timer (not even warm, very dry).
I LOVE fake nails, especially the long ones (that basically cripple you from doing most things easily lol)and I've never given a thought to whether I'd be okay with a fast food worker having such nails until this McDonald's.
The answer is no when I think about how often and how gross it was to clean under my fake nails.
