I ordered a large beef burrito no gacomoly. Small Coke, no ice. The price of the meal was more exspensive than eating at a full restaurant where you are waited on. .i pulled into one of the parking spaces and ate my meal there. There burrito was ok. more beans than beef as I ate I did not taste and sour cream or tomatoes. I unrolled some of the burrito and there was sour cream it was all at the very end of the burrito. They need to work on presentation. The sour cream is something that I enjoy from the first bite all the way to the last. Then ate the end of the burrito there was this greenish cream and I knew it was that gacmoly! I asked them to not put that on my burrito. Since I had eaten 80% I did not bother going in and asking for another one. I was able to remove most of it. Bottom line, I'm not happy ordering something and asking that certain items not be put on my food and then to find that item on my food makes it hard for me to come back to that place for my food. They have a full menu of good food but they do not always listen to the customers wishes. I should have gone inside and made a complaint but it was not a convenient time and that's why I used the drive thru. I will give Taco Bell 3* hoping they listen to what the customer requested and if there was a problem between what the person taking my order and the person makings my order needs to...
Read moreNo reason to give...a review for TB, BK, McD, etc...all know what to expect or not ..but this time I have to make an exception. Ordered #7... chicken quesadilla with a soft shell taco .. This is the FIRST time in years...and we travel extensively across America...but this TB staff got it right! The quesadilla was actually cut into sections and didn't have to pull it apart and end up tearing the dang thing all apart! Every time #7 was ordered...no matter where .. California, Missouri, Florida and in-between... ALWAYS had to pull the pieces apart and make a mess...cheese and chicken get all over! Mess. And the soft shell taco was....FILLED! Always in the past....half ass filled and even less. This one was bulging with food. What's going on TB? Youse are screwing up by doing good! Something seemingly insignificant perhaps to you.... but not to me when you're driving an 18 wheeler and trying to eat and end up making a mess pulling apart a mere .. quesadilla! They use that ...pizza type blunt edge cutter to section the quesadilla....should be simple to do but apparently not at the majority of TB's...
Read moreLots of vegan friendly options
We stop at Taco Bells all over the country because there are several items on their menu that are vegan friendly, from Fresco Bean burritos to bean tostadas etc. They even have a vegetarian certified menu!! We ordered the Fresco Bean burritos and the spicy potato taco HOLD the cheese HOLD the chipotle sauce for extra vegan goodness. Unlike some Taco Bells where they under fill or clump all of one ingredient on one side of a burrito, this one was uniform and a “good”/normal portion size. For the price, there is no better fast food vegan option. Beans are high in fiber and protein and no cholesterol, so I am always happy when food on the road is this easy. What really made this place great is the cashier, Lisa B., was SO HELPFUL. I buy 10 fresco bean burritos because they get eaten by the family over the day and she helped look up prices since the 10 box special is not on display but is available. I was traveling and she was so kind and friendly, I really appreciated...
