Awful food. This used to be one of our favorite places in town. When we arrived we were the only customers. Our waitress was terrible from the moment we got there. There was trash in the booth behind us. We looked at the menu and devised a few rolls and an order of chicken hibachi would be good. Partially because it was a healthful meal but also because the hibachi options were insanely expensive (some of them around 30 dollars or more) but the chicken had a much more reasonable price. Our waitress entered our order incorrectly, gave us one napkin too few, and even forgot to bring us utensils a few times. She carded me and my husband for ordering beers and couldnāt figure out the math on whether i was over 21 or not after seeing my ID. She shot me a look like I was trying to trick her when I told her my age to save time. She even had to walk away to get a calculator. They then told us that they donāt offer egg custard rolls anymore, something we had ordered off of their menu (a red flag we shouldāve noticed at the time). After waiting for a very long time the chicken hibachi arrived and was brutally salty and overlooked to the point of a rubbery styrofoam texture. When we sent it back the staff started shooting us angry looks. The sushi itself came out and it was horrific. The rolls were falling apart, everything was drowned in sauces, and the fish was graying. The rolls all looked like sushi that had previously been thrown in the trash and then plated. The seafood itself was not fresh, Iām guessing it had been sitting around for a few days. Even the seaweed tasted off. None of us could eat that food. My husband gagged. When we flagged the waitress and gently told her that we couldnāt eat the food and that we wanted to send it back she flipped out and said (in very broken English) that she'd worked at the establishment for six years and that nobody had ever said her food was bad. She snapped at us and was extremely unprofessional in her emotional outburst and tirade. Finally she got someone else to come talk to us and he was very polite. He listened to our complaints and immediately said that he wasn't going to make us pay for a meal we couldn't eat. I'd rate him separately if I could. He was lovely. As we left that awful waitress muttered something under her breath. I'm not sure but I think she might have spat at us. To make matters worse they had an Omakase option on the menu. The very idea of being subjected to such an awful meal is actually funny. It was bad. I cannot overstate this. Do not go here. The must have lost their previous chef. Last time we were there a year ago it was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWow! All I can say is WOW. So I'm a local business owner that regularly visits this place for the last 2 years. I've been there probably a hundred times no joke. Keep in mind I'm in the service industry and I respect everyone and I know how to handle people in a business like way. I ordered Hibachi chicken and it was dry to the point where I couldn't even chew it. First time I ever had to send a plate back to them. I thought no big deal. I was nice, the waiter was nice .This would not have been a big deal except the lady and the man that is running the place came to my table and told me I could leave because they're not making me another plate and that nothing was wrong with the food! I was like you've got to be kidding me. I have never been kicked out of a restaurant lol. I told them they'll never get my business again and they said they don't care just go. They had horrible attitudes and caused the scene in their own establishment. I did let them know how I felt before I left and a nice way. So here I am leaving this review now....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBy FAR, the worst hibachi Iāve ever had! It was more Mexican than Hibachi. I could barely understand the server, who appeared to get upset when I asked her to repeat herself. But, I did understand her when she said āNo noodle for youā, after I asked if they could substitute my daughterās rice for noodles. And, when they gave us our plates, they gave my daughter, the one who didnāt want rice, two servings of rice! š¤¦š»āāļøš¤£ The steak and chicken tasted like they were cooked on a grill with no soy or any form of seasoning whatsoever. Honestly, the ONLY thing I found to be anywhere remotely close to being what Iād consider āHibachiā were the chopsticks. 𤣠Even the ginger dressing on the salad sucked! The ginger dressing didnāt taste the least bit like ginger, but more like a sweet mayonnaise! It just blows my mind as to how far these guys are from being a true hibachi restaurant! š¤Æš¤£ It did seem pretty presentable inside,...
