Authentic Spice Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Manhattan

"Welcome to Authentic Spice Indian Cuisine!" and welcomed I did feel! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a friendly smile, a clean space, smells of different spices and music that makes you curious of the Indian culture. The Spice Team were hospitable and attentive! The food was absolutely outstanding! In this photo (from top to bottom) are: Garlic Naan, Saag lamb, Veg 555, Chettinadu shrimp fry, Chettinadu lamb, and the drink was Mango Lassi (next to saag lamb). Each dish introduced different tastes, textures, and aroma. Oh! And the spiciness level of the dishes, it's how you like it, from zero (not at all spicy) to ten(being extremely spicy)! I open the door and delightful aromas welcome us in. We came on an ordinary Sunday after church, however it happened to be Diwali. Service was excellent, and we were offered the special Diwali buffet. This was great because I was able to try out a multitude of different dishes. Coming back for multiple plates, every dish I got greeted me with pleasant flavors. Two small critiques: one is the naan was a little chewy, but still had good flavor, and two was the buffet wasn’t very spicy(but that is understandable). Very good food but be prepared to wait. We waited 45 minutes before getting our appetizer/meal. My friend ordered her meal with NO spicy and they gave her a meal that was extremely spicy. Thankfully they did remake it. We understand they just opened and were very polite. Unfortunately they didn’t refill our waters at all:( butter chicken and garlic naan were very good though!
