McCool's Bar + Kitchen — Restaurant in Manhattan

Normally really good but my most recent experience was horrible. 15+ minute waits for things like sauces that come with the meal and we had to ask multiple times before we eventually had to go ask the bartender/kitchen staff ourselves. We watched servers take shots of liquor while ignoring our table. Certain tables were brought multiple rounds of food and drinks while we waited for a replacement drink that we never received. That replacement drink, the fountain spout was out of syrup or carbonation for the drink therefore tasted badly and then our waitress told us that it wasn't bad but they replaced it anyway (and then proceeded to not bring a new drink). When we asked for a manager the bartender told us they were too busy but they'd let them know. We asked for a manager for a second time to report their staff drinking liquor while on the clock and then never came to...

I took my family here not expecting too much considering it’s a newer bar. We were pleasantly surprised - The atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming and the food was great! All workers were kind, but Randle really set the tone with his quality of care. He was not only attentive but was cracking jokes that had us laughing until we had stomach aches. My boyfriend is super picky and he only eats certain thing and we always go to the same two place and he said find a new place and I googles and found this place, Our server Taylor was great at suggesting drinks and food, he of course got his burger and fries and loved it and I got tanga chicken wrap and it was delish.
