The Incline Base Camp — Restaurant in Manitou Springs

Unfortunately I had a disappointing stop at the gift shop this Sunday afternoon. I have stopped by once before and the door was locked a few minutes before closing time; all good, I would come back another day to get those stickers for an out-of-state friend. I checked the hours before making the walk through town to get up here, and arrived at the door at 3:42 pm, 18 minutes before closing time. I was informed upon entering that they were closed for the day and they were unable to sell a couple stickers, not even for cash. The girl let me know she would have to be there until 5 if they allowed people to purchase things until the stated 4pm close time, and really didn't care if they weren't able to meet their stated hours. I let her know that I've worked many similar, underpaid retail jobs, and was having a hard time understanding why she couldn't sell a couple stickers for the business, at this point 15 minutes before closing. She repeated that she was "Sorry I had walked up there, but really didn't care". Those were the words used. Sorry to post such a negative review but it was a negative experience. Pay your workers more and give better...

Went in decided to buy something to drink saw the coffee menu wasn’t appealing two store employees stood there didn’t say anything decided I didn’t want anything weird vibes walked out with my sister. She decided she wanted souvenirs instead so we went back & she spent $$ on souvenirs and we started to walk out of the door. At this point one of the employees had stepped out of the store and another employee, they both shoved there way back in right as we were trying to leave, they were completely impolite and truly unwelcoming.They said nothing and acted as if we were inconveniencing them, with that said If you want to buy souvenirs buy them else where and buy coffee anywhere else in manitou. The employees there obviously don’t want or need...

I tried to go to this store after climbing the incline so I could buy some apparel. Apparently they function on their own time and are never open. Super aggravating when you have to pay to park in order to go to this store! Not to mention the steep climb to get there! Dont pay attention to the google status of open or closed or their posted hours on the front of the store.... They're closed. I will not support the store and will fervently advise everyone else to avoid it like the plague. You would think that if you went to the effort of opening a business on the side of a mountain- you would make sure that it was open so you could actually make money! If I could give them negative...
