We hiked the Paul Intemann Trail in Manitou Springs in August this year (22). Parking is hard to find, but definitely easier on weekdays. We first went on a Sunday, but left because of overcrowding. We went back on Wednesday and started at Iron Springs and then connected to Red Mountain Trail. It was moderately difficult in spots. The real plus was a good bit of shade and some really nice views. There are some steep climbs, especially at the top. We highly recommend this hike!

Took the Iron mountain section of the intemann from crystal park road, over iron mountain to Pawnee road. It's only about 2 miles but a beautiful hike as you can see east over COS and north into Manitou springs. Moderately difficult with some sections of narrow drop offs and loose gravel. Take the "scenic overlook" as that is the peak of iron mountain.

This is a moderate trail with plenty of views and challenging slopes. The views are breathtaking and definitely worth the trip. It's a long one so bring supplies! The best view is of Garden of the Gods and Red Rock Canyon. I will be taking a whole day to try this entire trail.

I Do NOT recommend this. I heard about this from other local nature lovers. I wanted to check it out but parking in that area is almost always overcrowded. Google Maps told me I had arrived as I drove around and around in circles but never saw a clearly marked sign or found an available parking spot. I finally gave up and found a trail and hiking nearby in a residential area at the end of a dead end street. I ended up lost after dark, one friend stayed with me while another found the car and picked us up. We all had a great attitude and made the best of what could have certainly been worse. But to be perfectly honest unless something changes to help people find the public trail and park nearby without paying an arm and leg I...

Incredible experience! I would highly recommend this hike to anyone who loves a small challenge to get the summit and witness some incredible views among the way! I was only in town for one day for work and wanted to hike really bad. We were in a 26ft moving truck so parking was almost impossible to find at garden of the gods bec it was so packed with people. I'm glad it was however, because I came across this hike in manitou springs and I can't wait to come back. Very peaceful, friendly and inviting place to hike. Not to mention Manitou springs was a really cool little town with shops, restaurants and very nice people. I live in Omaha, NE, and I will absolutely be back because of the trails...

*Update 2 yrs later the supposed "Owner" of trail starts responding to reviews picks mine to then make a further redundant comment on my review now earning said trail less stars as it is clearly this "Owner" that is responsible for said signage. I was referring to signage ON your trail so not sure the point to your deflection I made mention of it in my review because I and others where helping ppl that were clearly getting confused in an area of trail that could easily be addressed. Instead of attempting to gain insight you opted to deflect just reiterating the point.

Redundant and misleading signage in town most likely an abuse of...
