Big Apple Bagels — Restaurant in Manitowoc

I wanted to treat myself to a bagel this morning and Big Apple has the best. Unfortunately the customer service was horrible. I had to ask the counter person to put her mask over her nose as she was taking my order. She did and after she took my order she did wash her hands. Then when I was handed my bagel to go, the other woman working did not have gloves on. I also asked her to next time to put her mask up over her nose. She started to ask me in a mean way, to my ears, if I was the.... The other woman said she couldn't breath. I asked if she could prove it. The food that this place puts out is fantastic. I'm a huge pickle person. Their pickles are so good. I always ask for extra pickles. The right amount of tang and crunch. The bagels are great. Their grilled chicken bagel sandwich is phenomenal. Also, the staff is very friendly and polite. Thank you to everyone there for having a positive attitude all the time. I don't know what has been happening with this place, but the last 2 times we have ordered and brought bagels home they have been sub par. The first time they were toasted and burnt. The second time, one had almost no cream cheese on it! It was like someone had scraped it all off with a knife. This is ridiculous. And we live outside of Manitowoc, so upon arriving at home to find this, makes it that much more disappointing. These are little things that make all...
