Linebacker — Restaurant in Manitowoc

I was unprepared for what to expect but for my first, and probably only visit, it was ok. It's a small town and unfortunately there was 1 bartender/server and 1 cook when we arrived just after 6pm for the Packers game (employees probably called out to go to the game lol) which means we were pretty much our own servers unfortunately, but at least my order was correct. 😉 A couple other people got behind the bar to help due to business was good and I can only think they were employees or owners, and they were friendly enough. They do not have a full bar so no margaritas or drinks with creme, but they did have pretty good food and reasonable prices. In a word: WEIRD.

I had never been here before but decided to try this place after consistently poor encounters with a rude waitress at the bar across the street. This place had good reviews and looked like it could be fun (volleyball nets out back and a large patio). Their menu appeared to be decent.

My mom and I walked in and were immediately stared at as though we we had just crashed a wedding. Extremely weird and uncomfortable vibe. Clearly a bar full of people who all know each other and don't take well to new people. They just stared at us until we turned around and left. I can't comment on the drinks...

Treated like a troll by the bartenders. Came one to two times a week for a month and a half and was never engaged in conversation by the bartenders. Took my drink order and never acknowledged me. Someone else can have my money!!!! Will be a long time...
