Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Mankato

I always come to this location. Always dependable, great customer service and they more often times know my order already. But today on 9/2/22 at approximately 11am was an exceptional visit.

I originally was going to go to Papa Murphy's just down a little ways but was treated with horrible customer service. I should've just went to the tried and true JM's here to start but lesson learned. I was just fuming from my experience but whoever the raven haired girl is that works here, please let her know that even though she had about 6 or 7 other sandwiches going (I'm assuming between another lady in front of me in the line and online orders) that she just rose to the occasion and made my sub and the other's with great speed and quality!

She asked in a polite way, "#13 on white correct?" She knows me and my order without having to ask me what l want every time. Please consider her for management!!

The other gentlemen working there were VERY respectful and had great customer service as well. I was very prepared and ready to give you my money as always.

I don't know how you guys are training your workers but they're all just wonderful!! Keep up...

This Jersey Mike's is the best one we've ever been to! We visited the other one in town first, but as first time visitors we didn't appreciate the speed necessary to order when we hadn't even been to one before. We were also the only customers in the store. No patience for my first-visit questions. We've been patrons of Riverfront Jersey Mike's since! Employees are still in a hurry, but much more kind, patient, & always with a smile of appreciation for our business. The sandwiches are SO good that I always buy TWO- one for now & one to take home for later- we don't live in town. The Riverfront tables inside & outside are always clean, & the garbage cans are never overflowing. The soda pop station has always been spotless. I love the Shore Points rewards- what a great deal, plus I'm always getting texts for special deals. There is usually a coupon at the bottom of my receipt too- just wish it was good for more than 7 days since we don't get to town but once or twice a month. I'm amazed how many people have never heard of Jersey Mikes- we tell EVERYONE because the "Mike's Way" sauce is AMAAAAZING!! We no longer visit any other...

I generally go here quite often early in the day. I went later in the afternoon and was quite grossed out by what I saw. The woman who made my chicken bacon ranch touched the frozen/raw chicken then also grabbed my bread and refilled her lettuce container while wearing the SAME gloves. She then proceeded to do the SAME thing to the next customer.

I had her come over to have a private conversation about this, instead of notifying who I assumed was the manager. She asked if I wanted a new sandwich, I said sure. She changed gloves then still used the same spatulas which were just touched with her raw chicken gloves, and used the same contaminated lettuce. I was only on a 15 min break from work, so it wasn't worth getting into.

I made a post about this on social media and was horrified to find out numerous friends have had similar issues at this Jersey Mike's, and some have even gotten I'll after eating here.
