Artifact — Attraction in Mankato

My mom and I brought my 3 kids (5,6,11), my grandma (96yrs old), and my little sister (with downsyndrome). The staff was SO Friendly, helpful, informative, and accommodating. We all painted 2 premade sculptures/statues/containers. MANY different options to choose from, prices vary on size, Lots of colors to paint with or mix your own, Even different finishing glazes but you probably need to ask about the different glazes. They had Just ordered a different variety when I finished mine. Don't worry if you don't finish the same day, just let them know when you can make it back and they will have it waiting for you! It took me a total of 3 visits to finish my christmas tree gnome. I Am kinda picky and the colors had to be Just right, mind you lol. Great way to celebrate friends 40th birthday with a girls date! We hit up Nolabelle for lunch before parking curbside at Artfact :) #shoplocal We didn't have an reservation and the place was poppin but luckily we got a table. We were greatest by a friendly gal who walked us through the start and directed us to our table. The selection of pieces to choose from has grown drastically since the last time I visited, so it took 2x walking along the wall to finally settle on a planter. My friend was ecstatic to find a donut keepsake perfect for keeping her rings in. We struggled to hone in our creativity as the mix and match glazes with tools and stencils had our imagination in overdrive! :) We chatted and glazed for about 2 hours before deciding to spit. I CANNOT recommend this place more than what my words will say!! As someone in sobriety, this is the perfect addition to Mankato. We seriously need more businesses like this one in town!

As a first timer, They explained everything in detail from the paints and how many coats to do, to how each and every tool helps with details. The girls were very nice and we were told our pottery would be complete within the week before Christmas! How perfect for those looking to gift their creation!

Also, it’s extremely affordable, most ceramic pieces are between $15-$25. If you went to hobby lobby, you’d pay that much just for the pottery/ceramic piece. But at ARTifact, the price includes any and all paints you use, the glaze they put on after and the firing process!! I HIGHLY recommend this place for date night, something to do with the kiddos or a girls night! Don’t forget to bring your favorite drink...
