Desi hut — Restaurant in Manteca

We randomly found out about them through some friends and decided to come check them out. I called first and asked "Do you have lunch buffe?" Mind you I had no idea that this was a little good truck in a diesel truck yard. I would have still gave them a try IF they hadn't lied. The guy working yesterday says "Yes we do." I said for clarification, "So do you have a lunch buffet TODAY?" He said "Yes Ma'am we do have a lunch buffet today." So off I go with both my parents in tow. It took me 45 mins to get there because their street was closed as well as the main intersection. We get there finally and realize it's a food truck. I walk over to tell him it was I who called and he just laughed in my face and says "Oh well i just said that for you to come down here." Made me sick, annoyed and frustrated that he would lie about something so basic and then get a chuckle at our expense. Of course we left and I will not be coming back because this guy was a joke. I advise nobody to come here because this entire incident was a waste of my time and efforts in spending some quality time with my family, total disaster...

I spent so much money here because I wanted to try so many different things... Absolutely amazing. I was not let down. Every dish was prepared carefully and skillfully. Every bite an explosion of flavor. Unique menu items you CAN'T GET ANYWHERE ELSE and so many incredibly delicious vegetarian options. I got the garlic naan, large fried fish, paneer Tikka masala, noodle burger & a mango lassi. The food was all made extremely fresh and it was worth the wait. I came here with great expectations. But i was very disappointed. I am giving 2 stars because the butter chicken i ordered was good. But rest of the food was horrible. The paneer tikka was burnt and no sauce was served with it. The chili naan had literally 3 pieces of chilli on it. Garlic naan had almost no garlic on it. The naan was not crunchy.
