Just tried the brand new Mazar Kabab in Manville — and OMG… it’s a FLAVOR EXPLOSION from start to finish!! 🔥🍢🍚💥

They just opened in the old Halal Crispy spot, and WOW they did not come to play. We had the Chicken Kabab & Beef Kofta Combo with a side of Kabuli Pulao and it was chef’s kiss all around!! 👨‍🍳💋👌

The kababs were juicy, perfectly grilled, and loaded with smoky, savory goodness — every bite had us doing a happy dance 💃🕺. And the Kabuli Pulao? FLUFFY rice, sweet carrots, plump raisins, and bold flavor that wrapped us in a warm, delicious hug 🥕🍇🍛. Sooo good!!

PLUS — they gave us complimentary Lentil Soup to start, and it was warm, comforting, and full of flavor! 🥣✨ The perfect little appetizer while we waited.

And free water too! 💧 Yes, you read that right — no upcharge, no hassle. Just kindness and hospitality all around!

Then came dessert… Firni — creamy, cool, lightly sweet, and topped with crushed pistachios 🥰🥄🌿. Basically a dessert dream come true!

Heads up! They’re only on Day 3 of their soft opening 🗓️✨ — so things might take a little longer, but the staff is super friendly and working hard to get everything just right 🙌💪. Be patient, show some love, and trust — the food is 100% worth the wait!

We had an amazing experience at Mazar Kabob for my mom’s casual birthday dinner. The owner, Ghulam Haider, welcomed us with such warmth and kindness—it truly felt like we were guests in his home. His genuine hospitality set the tone for a fantastic meal.

We ordered the chicken kabob, filet mignon, and chicken kofta—each dish was beautifully seasoned, juicy, and grilled to perfection. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the meat was incredibly tender. We also had the mantu and hummus, both of which were delicious—especially the mantu, (which my mom was craving for DAYS) was flavorful and comforting, topped with the perfect balance of sauce and spices.

Everything was fresh, generous in portion, and made with love. You can tell how much care goes into the food and the experience. The kind owner also ended our meal with dessert and tea, complementary on the house once we started sharing our origins. It was my very first time having Afghan cuisine ( I call it cuisine because it was not just food it was like art with fresh taste) and I was so unequivocally astonished by the freshness of food and the flavors it gave my palate. Mind you I was ordering food kinda late and it was given to me made fresh on the spot like I was sitting at their family table and served just as it was finished cooking. The Chef is the father of the daughter that took my order and treated me like family and it was as if we bonded right away and she didn’t hesitate to make sure I was happy and fully aware of what the ingredients were and how it was prepared as I had mentioned to her that I was allergic to eggs she made sure that nothing contained them. I am very happy to have made new friends and would not hesitate to order there again soon.
