I can’t believe how cheap and not friendly the owner is. I have gone out of my way since the day she opened to tell people that they HAVE to try her donuts and that they are the best. She was closed the entire week of my sons birthday and you get two free donuts on your birthday. My other sons bday is 13 days after my first sons and she was closed that Monday. So I go in today and ask if I can get my sons free donuts since they were closed yesterday and also my other sons donuts from the week before (when she had finally opened back up after the holiday and had five days off). First she question me that she was even closed on July 3rd and then looked at the calendar and said “well you should have come some time last week so no”. My five year old starts bawling and I ended up buying him two along with my daughter (who’s birthday isn’t for another month so she doesn’t count in this story). The best part of this story is that we have been WEEKLY customers the ENTIRE three years (?) that she’s been in business. We go anywhere from 1-3 times a week!!! So it’s not like I’m not a “usual” of hers. She knows me and all of my friends that I drag in with me!!!! I also bought four dozen donuts from her for TWO of my children’s bday parties and after my hubby picked them up one of the times, she had forgotten a whole dozen. Then when she told me over the phone I could just come and pick them up at a later time and barely said sorry, she was annoyed when I retrieved them like she just expected that I would forget. The surprise bags are made up of surplus from the previous day, not unsold items from the current day. I’ve ordered more than once, and each time there were boxes already set aside and donuts still in the case. That’s why I was surprised to arrive during the scheduled pickup window and find the store closed.

I understand that the app doesn’t guarantee selection, and I don’t expect that. The issue was showing up within the posted pickup time and finding the store closed, with no cancellation or communication through the app.

I hope this feedback helps improve communication and consistency for future customers.
