Horrible experience, I've lived in the area for over a decade and have always seen this place so busy so we finally decided to try and what can I say, it was so terrible that I can't believe this place is even up and running. I got a burger and the burger was okay, basic and bland and I think I'd rather have mcdonalds. The fries taste like the cheap crinkle fries that you find in the freezer section and heat up in the microwave, no thanks. The real kicker was my wife's halibut and chips. Online it said 12 dollars but in the drive thru, it was 16 dollars, and when we finally got home to eat what did we find? The picture speaks for itself, we get these tiny, 3 and a half fish nuggets with these unsalted microwave-tasting fries for 16 dollars! I'm ashamed to present this to my wife or even anyone! And the halibut tasted horrible too. I figured there would be some fresh made, quality burgers or fish and chips because this place isn't a chain restaurant but in the end, the only thing I enjoyed in the meal was the medium Sprite with my nasty combo! It's no wonder this isn't a chain restaurant. It's a rip off with poor quality food. Enough said and look elsewhere.

First & last time here. My husband ordered the double fish and chips. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The portion size for the fish & chips was good. The food itself was disgusting the fries are frozen crinkle fries, no salt or flavor. The fish dry as hell no flavor whatsoever probably the worst restaurant fish I’ve ever had. The bacon burger nothing special, $9 for a burger probably frozen meat didn’t look like fresh patties. Didn’t come with fries and of course the drinks cost extra as well. If you wanna enjoy fish and chips, don’t ever come here. I would’ve given it a zero. The burger was edible that’s about it. Definitely over priced & not worth it.

My fish and chips are clearly from the frozen isle at Dollar General. The fries were so mushy and dry I coughed up dirt. I bet you couldn’t eat one fry without at least 3 glasses of water to wash it down. The chicken teriyaki has a rubbery texture to it. The inside wasn’t very clean either, a mixture of dirt and grease covers every square inch beginning from the menu up to the ceiling. Look at the chains holding the menu if you dare. If I would have saw that first, I wouldn’t have ordered. This place is bowling alley food… but I see it packed constantly!!! I just don’t get it. Maybe it’s the milkshakes, I saw they use Darigold products.

This place lost its heart. Honest review from a local - Burgers. I grew up here and am now raising a family here. Have been going here a very long time. The old owners were fantastic, burgers, fries, and service were excellent.

I have eaten here about ten times since the handover, hoping it would improve after working some kinks out. It didn’t. It may have become even worse. It’s so disappointing. Here’s what’s different: Patties went from juicy and hot to dry and tepid, tastes like they pre cook them and let them sit around. Bacon is floppy, sad and not well placed. Pickles are usually in just one lump. Fries are inconsistent, mostly floppy and not as hot, plus I can taste fish n chips oil in them. Overall care and quality is just not there. Staff seems stressed as well.

Is it better than McDonald’s? Probably, but not by much and fries are not.

I just can’t support this place anymore, it saddens me because it was such a staple in our town :( I am not the only one who feels this way. I hope it can...

This place changed hands in the last couple of years. I do like to support small, local businesses. Minus 1- Most businesses that I visit feel some obligation to post THEIR OWN menu with prices. Not here, it's a third party which does, and the prices are WAY off. Menu says $9, actual $13. Menu says $16, actual $22. This has nothing to do with inflation, and lack of effort on the owner which is unacceptable to me; I've learned to ask for the price when phone ordering. They stated the third party wanted money to take down the menu, but did not state they would replace it. Minus 2- the teriyaki is all still very good, though I do find it weird to serve with macaroni salad. Maybe it's a traditioin. The yakisoba was not good. Not sure if they threw Chinese 5 spice in it or what, but did not care for it compared to previous version. I'm sure I'll be back due to it being...
