Love the fact that this place is open Sundays.

This was from a few years ago, but they still deserve this great review. I dropped off my desktop PC on a Saturday morning - it kept shutting off intermittently, so I was fairly certain my power supply was to blame. I spoke with Chris on the phone who told me they could install a new power supply and have my PC back to me within an hour or so. I was quoted approximately $49 for the part and $75 for the labor.

When we got to the shop, my husband asked if they could upgrade my video card. We chose a new video card and agreed to the additional price for the card.

Chris called later that day to let me know that they did not have that exact video card in stock, but that they would order it Monday and it would be a few days for them to get the video card and install it. This was fine with me, as I was still able to use my husband's PC and my laptop, so the wait was no big deal. They estimated that they could have my PC back to my by Thursday.

They called Tuesday to let me know my PC was ready (yes - two days earlier than planned). When I got to the shop, the gentleman who worked on my PC explained that they were able to obtain a better video card from a different vendor at the same price they'd quoted me.

I was charged $49.99 for the power supply and $45.00 for the labor, plus the price of the video card. Yes - that's less than originally quoted for the labor, which was great. They had also cleaned up my PC a little (dust blown out, etc.) and changed out my noisy fan, no charge.

So far, so good...my computer is still, to this day, running more quietly, more smoothly, and the new video card works great! I would definitely use PCE again for any...

Friendly, Knowledgeable & Quick Turnarounds

All the techs I've sought help from, name-brand or otherwise, had always left a bad taste in my mouth until I finally found a good one. Ever notice how when you find a good mechanic, doctor or church, you often move away within a year or two? Well, I recently moved to this area and the same rule applies to computer techs.

My video card had played its last hand, I thought, and a new friend from a new church suggested I seek help from P.C.E. Computing LLC in Maple Valley. P.C.E. didn't charge a diagnostic fee --that's refreshing-- and my tech, Jamie, called later the same day with the true cause: A failing 5-year-old hard drive. We successfully cloned and replaced the HDD with an SSD, and I had my PC back within 48 hours. Pricing didn't break the bank, either. Great people. Great service....
