Firehouse Subs White Bear Ave. — Restaurant in Maplewood

On Saturday 10/22 my family stopped in for some sandwiches. We waited 8 minutes before being greeted and asking about our order. There were two people Sitting and waiting for food when we arrived and then us. It seemed the employee needed time to finish so we waited patiently. We ordered but we’re never give. Help for the kids drinks or told to pick out chips. We ordered at 12:54. At 1:20 my name was called. Others had come in while we were waiting. There were two employees at the time we ordered. When we got our bag of food it was covered in sauces and other stuff. Every container was messy with sauce and some kind of jelly. My daughters meat was wet. And my container was so messy I got sick to my stomach. We showed the bag and containers to the employee who had arrived as we We’re finally being served (now 3 employees) and she raised her voice and became upset. She said they didn’t change their gloves and shrugged it off with no apology. We asked for a refund but my partner said “the purpose Of the FIng gloves is to keep the food safe and clean” so so threatened to not refund and to get the F out of her store and went on for well over five minutes about calling the police and heckling me as I was trying to get the kids out. It was horrible and unprofessional and clearly they did not care they served unsanitary food. She was not at all apologetic and then did not refund the full amount although she got the food back and continued to cuss and...

One of the worst customer service experiences I've had recently. I arrived around 7:15pm on 12/15/24, as I was emailed an offer for 50% off any subs with minimum $3 purchase. The app and website wasn't letting me redeem the deal, so I decided to go to the store. I went out of the way on my way home specifically for that deal. I arrive at the order counter and ask about the Rewards Member deal for 50% off. Two of the workers pretty much ganged up on me and instantly started denying that they would honor it in store "You gotta order from a 3rd party! We have no control over this!" I let them know that it wasn't working on the app, and if they could help or make something work out in store, and they said "If the app isn't giving you the deal, we aren't giving you the deal in store either". There was no apology or care that I went out of my way for this deal. I simply walked out. They couldn't care less to retain my business, or understand that when a brand with many stores such as Firehouse Subs offers a deal, maybe, just maybe, make an exception in store to help keep customers happy. I work customer service and I can guarantee you that they need training, at least try to relate with the customer and offer them something as an alternative option. I will make it my mission to never step foot in a Firehouse Subs location, and I will let my friends and family know of this...

Today I went in on visit due to there was plastic material in my food this happend months ago I made an official complaint the manager Ron spoke with me months ago to resolve the issue he sent me cards to replace both my subs I never received them in the mail I decided to call him to ask where are my coupons he compromised with me and said in can stop by today, and I did so. ,when I arrived I placed my order and told the employee at the register that Ron credit my order and to tell the lady he referred me to which was Cynthia. She was so rude and unprofessional( her words exactly o thought he was coming at seven hands on the air just rude didn't want to hand me my food and this is a black woman can't really blame it on race but the lack of respect is the moral of the story that's the issue with America community in today's society and they think they deserve respect? Woman edelery or not you know better how to treat people Cynthia I'm a strong believer in karma I didn't even eat the food because of you can treat me like that What makes me think you care about how you treat my food? This was so disturbing on so many levels thanks Ron for at least attempting to resolve the issue but I feel way worst. The world with people like Cynthia in it is part of the problem and I will be making an official complaint because I should not have to worry about...
