Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Maplewood

I went here tonight 2/28. Around 9:30. Granted I know that’s within a half hour of closing . Which really shouldn’t mean much since it seems as though McDonald’s treated me with better respect than here . I walked in for a burrito . There were two young ladies laughing and giggling and all cute. As soon as I started telling miss ma’am about what I wanted she immediately had an attitude. I let it go. I looked down at the little bin of peppers… they were like dry burnt and crusted at the bottom of the pan. I asked her if there were more to be made and she replied “we ain’t got no more”. And if that’s the case that’s fine cool I get it. Why keep dirty dry pans for no reason? Knowing you don’t have the stock or staff to replace it or in the very least … WASH the pan so customers know that’s it’s empty and you no longer have it. Anyways beyond that. I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt. I opted for a burrito bowl with chicken … she started to build it . And at the very end before I even for a chance to ask for lettuce on top she said “oh we don’t have lettuce “. Like WHAT?’ I get that inflation is a thing.. but you can’t honestly think That someone is going to pay that much amount of money for some very VERY poor quality food AND service . I’ve been going to that place for 16 years . Since I was in high school : I recently moved back a few months ago in the area and have never seen it in this condition. I hate to be this person by posting a review like this but management. Higher management, what have you ., whoever . PLEASE make some changes. For starters yes there is always a line at Chipotle so it was expected when I arrived. The fact that I had to wait over 30 minutes to get my order placed was ridiculous given there wasn't much of a line. Then to have to repeat my burrito order several times is just an example of those who work there not listening when they ask you what you want on it. The staff was very slow with everything they did including the register person wandering around not doing her job. When I paid for my food as soon as she handed me my card back she again took off walking to the back room and I had to wait to ask her for my receipt, which should never happen. Then going to get my drink I come to find out the ice is empty, the pop tops are gone and they are using paper towels from the restroom as napkins. After dealing with all that I go to sit down and EVERY table was a disaster with food all over the tables and chairs along with the floor looking like a parade was held in there. To have 6 employees on shift from what I counted this was absolutely the worst experience I have had there and each time I go it gets worse. I would suggest going to the one located by the mall next time to save yourself time and to get a better dining experience. I honestly can't give this a bad enough review, you had to be there to see the absolute clown show they had going on. You would be better off bringing a burrito shell and making your own burrito with all the scraps left on the tables and chairs and save yourself time and having to explain your order...

Made an online order and was told via the app that my order would be ready in 10 minutes. Pulled up to the location and five or six employees were standing around and talking and there were no customers in line. About 10 minutes past my time I received a notification that they were behind and my order would be late. After a another 10 or 15 minutes I got a notification that my order was ready. When I went inside they had orders where customers are not able to grab them and no one was helping customers that had placed online orders. They were just letting about eight bags sit there to get cold while they helped the couple people in line and completely ignored anyone waiting for an online order.

Tried to say something to the cashier and got an attitude and still ignored. Finally another employee noticed and started helping people but struggled.

Got home and my burrito bowl is about half full. Asked for extra rice and hardly got any. I got a vegetarian burrito bowl which comes with guacamole as the replacement for meat and there's the tiniest bit on top.
