What can I say other than a divine light shines on this place. There are so few diners/dives in St. Louis where the kitchens close at midnight and this one definitely takes the cake. Atmosphere. Perfect blend of the spooktacular and the cozy, dimly lit bars that wrap you up in a sinful, rewarding hug. All the horror movie memorabilia mixed with heavy metal and a projector on the wall showing classic monster movies is the cherry on top. The menus were also a fun touch as they were repurposed hard rock record albums. Service was delightful and the waitress was super kind and complimented me on my outfit for the night. Super attentive and fast with our orders. Extremely considerate, too, when it came to wiping the table when it was wet. Food. To die for. The Pork Poutine was the star of the show. I kept slumping in a flavor explosion craze of the tangy Jalapeño Gouda sauce that doused the hot, crispy waffle fries smothered in bacon bits and pork gravy. Just 🤌 perfection. Fried Tomato sandwich slapped. Housemade pickles, panko crusted tomato and a thousand-island dressing that soaked in that crispy buttery sourdough toast. And that Caraway seed smashed potato... so comforting. My husband also enjoyed his Fish Tacos with gusto. Perfectly fried fish with generous fresh toppings and the Roasted Brussel Sprouts (they were a tad salty for our liking) but just as delightful. You definitely get what you pay for here and the prices are so justified. These dishes will be in my dreams until I come back and try more on the menu. Delicious.

So ive been here twice, around easter. The first time i went and picked my food up it was really good. You get two pieces of fish, fresh salad greens, waffle fries and an artichoke tartar sauce. I was really skeptical of the tartar sauce but it was surprisingly very good! The waffle fries were perfect, not hard and crunchy, not under cooked but just right. The fish is wide and thin out at the end, cooked perfectly, crispy and soft and not dry. The second time I had it it was just ok for me me,the fish was slightly over done at the end where its thinner,it can happen and the fries were slightly over cooked, crunchy. I love fries and i dont like waffle fries over cooked. THEY DO NOT DO THIRD PARTY DELIVERIES,YOU HAVE TO CALL YHE RESTAURANT AND OR GO IN TO THE LOCATION AND ORDER YOUR FOOD. I LIVE CLOSE SO NO BIGGIE! THE ISSUE I HAVE IS THAT THEY CHARGE A 15% GRATUITY FOR YOU TO DRIVE TO THEIR RESTAURANT AND PICK YOUR OWN FOOD UP,15%. THIS MAKES NO SENSE TO ME AT ALL. ALL RESTAURANTS DO TAKE OUT/To Go FOOD AND YOU ARENT CHARGED EXTRA FOR THAT. IM FROM THIS INDUSTRY AS A CHEF AND THIS TO ME IS RIDICULOUS!

A staple for brunch in Maplewood. There's a large parking lot behind the restaurant, I suggest parking there and going straight to the patio. They have a large covered deck that is shaded. A big part of the deck is for hanging out without dining tables, but don't worry if you have to sit inside. Inside the restaurant has the Metal Brunch atmosphere, complete with metal music and fun movies on the television. We were meeting friends and lucky enough to grab a patio table on this beautiful morning. The menu is great and the food doesn't disappoint. The creme brulee stuffed French Toast was so good and definitely get the breakfast potatoes! Our son said the Breakfast Burger was amazing, and he also enjoyed the Waffle Fries. My husband opted for the Slinger, his go-to for Brunch, and he ate every last bite. I was eyeing the chicken and waffles. I'll definitely be trying that next time.

I have been a long time customer of this place. I can't say I'm a regular cause we'd go maybe every couple months but I've always loved it until recently it's changed. My father inaw went with his mother who is 96 & his sister on my recommendation. It was a rainy lunch time & he hung his mother's jacket on a barstool since there was not 1 person at the bat. The bartender very rudley asked him to remove the jacket in case a customer wanted the seat...although no one was there. He removed rhe jacket but honestly how rude. We went with 5 friends for brunch when we were in town last wk. They forgot our friends waffles then brought them out with no butter 10 mins after ours was all there. The Poutine used to be excellent now it's just meh Our server was slow although it wasn't tgat busy he could've gotten at least 2 more rounds out of our table had he been more on it. I'm sad

This is one of my favorite local eats! It’s a cute, small little bar tucked away in Maplewood with an old school style and a homey feeling. The food is always delicious! I recommend the pork poutine, absolutely delicious! It gets a little loud at times, but it is well worth it to stop by for a drink and a burger! The service/wait staff leave a bit to be desired but overall a great place to be!

This place has good vibes. The food is knock out. I had the French Dip sandwich and it was quite good. I paired it with the loaded mashed potatoes and those had to be some of the best potatoes I've had. Whatever seasoning they used, they knocked it out of the park. Good music, good environment and good service.
