My husband and I went there on a Thursday, and we got excited about it at first. The bartender was real friendly welcomed us and our little boy. We was impressed at how welcome they made us feel. We ordered quite a bit food even came out quickly. I ordered the gyro it tasted aweful there were more onions then meat or even the other ingredients something tasted sour on it so I didn't even eat it. The waitress only checked on us once and no one was even in the place for real. We get our tab I typically pay cash for the tip and use my card for the bill so when we left I got an alert on my phone telling me what I spent and my card was charged $1.76 extra. So I called and spoke to Luke about the food and extra charge, he told us to come in and he wld take care of us. We ended up goin Friday, Luke spoke with me and my husband told us get what we want and he will take care of us. I understand they were busy but they seen us come in we even spoke to Luke but the tables were dirty. We ordered a pizza a tea a beer and wings. He came back to us offered my husband another beer and my husband told him no he is good Luke sd are u sure it's on me he said no thank you. Luke then said ok well the beer and wings are on me. My husband and I looked at each other confused because he told us get what we want and he wld take care of it but we still pd for our order. I got a alert on my phone this time they charged an extra $3.98 to my card!!!!!! It's not the principle of the amount it's the fact I didn't give authorization for the extra. I ended up calling and spoke to Jeremy explained the situation he kept insisting it's my bank but this never has happened anywhere. Also if a bank charges they have set amounts not random amounts. He wasn't listening to me got rude with me, so my husband got on the phone he tried to argue with husband then sd it was our bank and hung up on my husband!! I couldn't believe any of it, and wld never treat customers in that manner ever!! The pizza is good but not worth 20.60 for a damn large, then a extra 3.98. We were going to be a regular since it is right around the corner but this totally...
Read moreBeen going here for 10+ years. Awesome place to catch a game. Last night was the worst experience I’ve ever had there. My friends and I met up to watch the Mizzou game. We got there 15 minutes early to make sure we got there in time for the start of the game. We asked the waitress to put the game on, she asked the manager, and she came back saying that he wouldn’t put the game on until some other game ended (there are literally 50 tvs in this place. And again, that’s what makes this place great for watching sports). We waited very patiently (over a half an hour) for the game to get turned on and it never got changed, so I went up and asked him myself. He was immediately aggressive with me and told me he had more important things to do. Frustrated, I went back to the table and told the table what he said. They, like me, were disappointed. One minute later, I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was the manager, he asked to talk to me privately which was very very odd. He went on and on saying how busy he was but had time to stop working to tell me how wrong I was for asking to change one tv after waiting and waiting it to get changed. I was embarrassed that he pulled me aside for this. I sat back down at our table and he followed me, talked down to me, and continued to tell me how out of line I was for asking to put the game on. He did eventually put the game on with 2 minutes left in the first half. Sorry to ramble, but I’ve never seen this manager and wanted to post this very awkward and horrible experience. I hope he moves on to work somewhere else because he is ruining this great sports bar. I would definitely give this place 5 stars if he...
Read moreVery conflicted on my review. I work in the bar/nightclub industry and the last thing you want is a bad review. This one has a “satisfactory” ending at least. First off, our server Tannah (hope I spelled correctly), was on top of it. She was VERY busy but.. on the ball! We had problems with the temp of our food. ((2/4 of us)! Mine was “manageable”! I had the French onion cheesesteak. Was skeptical at first with the mention of the “jam” and horseradish on it but… let me tell you… THAT jam was SOOOOO AMAZING! My fries (as well as 2 more ppl) looked like they sat, got reheated and sat again. We expressed our dissatisfaction and they were replaced. Still came out minimally warmer than the first. The pretzel bites with the beer cheese. Was like cool glue and wouldn’t stick. New cheese was brought out. A little better but, “gummy” for lack of better wording. The 2 guys that got burgers… one was so cold it wasn’t edible. The other guy looked miserable eating it BUT… we just drove 12 hours without breakfast and lunch. He ate it. I had researched sports bars that mentioned kid friendly so we could watch the orange bowl. This one popped up consistently with a good rating but mixed reviews. I just wanted to try something new and not a chain. On the upside… Tannah was someone I would want to have serve me again. I read reviews while researching the area and noticed the manager had responded with mention of letting him know so he could fix and address the issues. He did and I appreciate that. I really hope they get someone that would be proud of the food they send out! Atmosphere was where we wanted to be but, we left so the...
