My husband found this little gem tucked away inside a small strip center right on the Overseas Highway last year. Always one to find a rare and unusual cigar, he decided to check out Leffe cigars. The result was one of the greatest experiences he's had since becoming a cigar smoker more than 15 years ago. The owner, Robert is a master cigar roller from his home country of Cuba. He taught skills to his son who is just as knowledgeable when it comes to finding the Perfect Blend of tobacco's for your palette.

They don't sell anyone's cigars but their own and each one is unique in its own right. Ring gauges as narrow as 38 and as wide as 60 or better. Everything from natural to the richest most oiled Maduro. My favorite one in our household is the deepest of maduro's with a 60 ring gauge and 6 in length with tobacco is that are aged in a cognac barrel for 2 years. But that's just one example. Robert has honed his skills and perfected the art of tricolor cigars which blends more than a half a dozen different varieties of fine long-filler cigar tobacco all-in-one cigar and wrapped with a tri-color leaf. Every time we have been in the keys since last year, we will not leave Marathon without first visiting Robert and his son.

stopped in here today (12/12/2020) and instantly upon opening the door was greeted by the gentleman pictured, his first question was "cigar?" and i said "yes!" He then directed me to the humidor in the next room. 10 mins later i was on my way with my purchase, this was the first humidor i came across in the the entire trip which really stood out to me because the other places didn't have them and I've been informed to have a really quality cigar its a must! He wrapped the cigars in a tobacco leaf and sprayed cognac in a Ziploc bag which added a sweetness to the cigars, when i come back to the keys i will be back in this shop.
