I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for 7+ years. Always get the same thing, will switch it up from time to time. Today I got my normal, 4 espresso shots over ice and I placed it as a mobile order so I can understand that the ice will melt but not in this case. I ordered 4 shots in a venti cup. A friend had picked it up for me so she wasn’t aware what 4 shots over ice is supposed to look like. When I got my coffee it wasn’t even filled past the 1st line on a venti cup. I wanted to drink my coffee so I took a picture of it so I could show an employee. When I came into show the picture to an employee he asked me if I placed it as a mobile order. He states that it’s watered down so that’s why it’s appears that way. The longer it sat in ice wouldn’t you think that there would be more and not less. ?? Again I get this alll the time I’m well aware as to how much coffee should be in there. It was not 4 shots I don’t care how long it sat there it was not what I ordered. He couldn’t seem to care any less. Didn’t apologize, didn’t offer me a new coffee made...
Read moreIts unfortunate that I have to rate my go to local Starbucks a lower rating. On multiple occasions if I order a drink with no ice, the cup will only be filled half way. That is not the case elsewhere so I find myself ordering during my commute at Vinnin square or Lynnway where drinks get filled to the top no matter how it’s ordered. It’s sad to get cheaped out in an affluent town like Marblehead but towns like Salem and Lynn are generous with their servings. I inquired why my drinks are only half way and the associate reports that it’s just protocol there. Therefore sounds like it’s management decision but either way I try to go to other local Starbucks before Marblehead since I know I will get 100% of my $6 coffee rather than 50% filled! It just struck a cord with me after...

The store was also not as clean as I’d expect—tables hadn’t been wiped down, and the trash bins were overflowing. For the prices they charge, I expect a much higher standard of service and cleanliness.
I’ve been a regular customer for years, but after this visit, I’m seriously reconsidering whether it’s worth coming back. There are plenty of other local coffee shops that seem to care more about quality and...
