I have worked with Liana at Engaging Nutrition since February 2024 when I joined a weight loss program at Uglow Med Spa. Liana is part of the weight loss program educating clients on nutrition in preparation for their weight loss journey. Liana has been the most important part of this journey for me. She has provided the tools for me to maintain a healthy well balanced lifestyle in relation to food. After trying so many different food programs over the years i turned to this weight loss program hoping it would finally give me the knowledge to live a healthy life. No more counting calories , points or fasting techniques. She taught me a very basic approach to eating that has changed my life. This approach has made eating a more enjoyable experience by focusing on what my body needs to function. The importance of protein and fiber while watching my sugar intake. No food is off limits ! By eating 3 balanced meals along with several snacks I have finally achieved my weight loss goals and am almost completely weaned off of medical weight loss assistance. The stress of what to eat no matter where I am is no longer an issue. I can do this without counting calories or points while not overeating and giving my body what it needs to stay healthy. I could never have achieved this new relationship with food without the support and kind approach of Liana. She was always available by text if I had a question. She always gave me assistance on how to overcome difficult food situations that attributed to my success. I could always rely on her for quick and inexpensive ideas for meals whether I was home or on vacation. Over this past year and a half the support that Liana has provided me has changed my life! I no longer deprive myself of any food because she has taught me how to incorporate all foods into my daily life. She has encouraged physical activity which has become an integral part of my new lifestyle. With Liana’s support I’m no longer looking at the end of this journey with fear of how can I maintain my new healthy body . The education I have received from her will continue to provide me with the tools to a healthy and stress free approach to maintaining my newfound healthy relationship with food. My weight loss journey would never have been so successful without her guidance and support . Her encouragement along the way has given me the self confidence to achieve my personal and fitness goals I never had before. Thanks to Liana this has not been a diet that I will end after I reach my goal but a lifestyle that has changed my approach to food . A lifestyle free of stress over what and how to eat in any situation that continues to allow me to be the healthiest I have ever been. Liana will continue to support me as I discontinue all weight loss medical assistance. I will be turning 70 early next year and Liana has given me the greatest gift I could ask for.    Read moreLiana was a dream to work with! I have always been very active through out life and never paid attention to my diet or the food I was consuming. After I got married I put on a lot of "happy weight", and I knew I needed to get back to living a healthier life style. After trying to follow online diets on my own I saw no improvement and actually noticed I was gaining more weight. I was introduced to Liana through my gym and ever since I have gained a new appreciation and understanding to living a sustainable/ balanced lifestyle! Her meal suggestion were so helpful and it never felt like I was on a "diet". I lost almost 20lbs from February to May and I feel so healthy!
Liana not only gave me meal plans and suggestions, she also showed me the importance of living a balanced lifestyle and to be patient with results.
