Lefty's Irish Pub & Restaurant — Restaurant in Marcus Hook

Have had the pleasure of visiting this bar on quite a few occasions. The bartenders that I have had the pleasure of meeting and to whom I would like to shout out are Kim, Ashley, Rachel and Luciano ( apologies if any name is misspelled), for being very attentive and professional.

A special shout out to Ashley for making my wife a signature drink( The Ashley) that she very much enjoyed and became her new favorite. Thank you Ashley for doing what you do... very well!!!

Visited here on 12-2-2024 and was greeted by the bartender by the name of Kim. Not only did she keep my drafts flowing but when I chose to order (was recommended a cheese steak from a fellow patron) she made sure that my sandwich (made by Trey) arrived hot and complete with all the condiments. I normally add a few things to my cheese steaks but decided instead to keep it simple with just ketchup. What a truly great decision that turned out to be. It tasted extremely good. The fact that I kept it simple helped me to truly savor and enjoy the cheese steak.

An overall great...

Drinks are cheap and the music is ok. They play mixture of songs.

Update: after Covid hit it hasn't been the same. Hard to get a drink unless you're a regular there, and THEY CUT THE ALCOHOL!!!! Do not go there. I had two shots while I was there. Both of them were supposed to be Malibu coconut rum (don't judge) I had one with ice and it tasted funny. I'm thinking maybe it's the ice, so I then order it without ice. It was still disgusting. It tasted like it had aspartame in it. Like the after taste of Sweet'n Low. I just keep thinking...all that time I waited for those nasty shots. And they charged me full price like it was straight...

I have a lot of respect for Lefty's its my favorite of places when I want to go out; tonight this Saturday was very disappointing 2 of my friends for bingo had it and we were sitting at the far and of the bar and somebody else had it as well, it was crowed but we couldn't get there fast enough to claim my prize first come first serve if i was in a bingo hall and 20 years older my cane couldn't get me up there to claim my prize there fast enough to claim my prize the DJ is not the greatest person to have at leftys but I will still go there because I love the people...
