Checkers — Restaurant in Margate

My visit was on 04/04/2021 approximately 10:30PM This place is the absolute worst, every time I come the wait is extremely long, but I never really minded it much it was just annoying, but tonight it was beyond awful!!!! We get in the drive thru line and waited about 10+ minutes behind 3 cars one we got to the speaker to order we were not only NOT greeted once we reach the speaker but we waited for another 10 minutes or more just to watch the 2 cars in front of us leave the line and WE STILL WERE GREETED IN ANY WAY, so of course we pull forward to the window to place our order, we then were greeted by “Vincent” If that’s his real name in the nastiest way possible.... “why you didn’t you wait?” We were like “we didn’t know if you were taking orders at the speaker” so he responded with “you have to go back around” at this point there are at least 5 cars behind us.so we waited for him to finish raking the cars order behind us and said again we didn’t know if he was taking orders at the speaker his response was “well, you should of just waited, now go back around to the back of the line” we asked to speak with a manager and his response was “ I am the manager, whatever you have to say you can say it to me” at this point we were absolutely shocked that a “manger” would talk to customers this way, we asked his name and left. I will never come back to this place!!! Absolutely the worst customer service ever especially...

I visited this location tonight as a Doordasher. When I arrived as I've done at other Checkers locations I pulled up to the drive thru side for online orders and deliveries. Well I wanted patiently in line as the other line for onsite orders kept moving ahead. I sat in the line and waited as more cars came and went and no one said anything on the speaker. So I decided to move up to the window after 10 minutes of waiting. Again while at the window no one came. The two guys inside was moving around a kept avoiding my eye contact. After minutes passed by I got out of the car and went to the window and waited an additional 10. Minutes. No one came to the window and everyone kept moving around inside but clearly knew I was standing waiting. Customers walked up to the window also waiting but decided to leave because no one came to help. Eventually the lady on the actual onsite drive thru came to the window to help. I advised her of my situation and informed her that she wasnt the issue but the guys she was working with clearly saw me cause they kept holding up their hand. Checkers this is not the service I expect. You lostquite a few customers because your workers did not want to do their jobs. The female on duty was helpful but the two guys were not.Due to how I was treated a s a worker I would never visit this place as a customer and will advise everyone else...

*PRETTY SURE I GOT FOOD POISONING * I originally ordered a Banana milkshake, the lady asked me if I wanted a Strawberry instead since the banana one was not dispensing. I said sure. I didn’t see how it was dispensed since the station was turned away from the window where I was standing. As soon as I finished the milkshake I felt a weird sharp pain traveling down my stomach. I then found myself hunched over barely able to walk the rest of the way to work. I sucked it up and then the pain kind of subsided for a while. It then came back with a vengeance 15 later as well as the urge to go to the bathroom. I ran to the bathroom after which I found myself doubled over in excruciating pain, I mean I was on the floor and my stomach was just in complete turmoil. I could barely move, it was just terrible. I ended up having to leave work and go home after only being clocked in for about 30 mins. Again, the pain subsided for a while on my way home. When I arrived home, about 20 mins later , I was in excruciating pain again. It was so awful. I then proceeded to throw up all of the milkshake and I was still in pain even after that. This was by far the worst my stomach has ever hurt and I get really bad cramps while menstrating! Checkers has ruined milkshakes for me and I will NEVER again eat...
