The entire restaurant is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is very vibrant and fun. They had a DJ playing when we went and it was full of people; looked very fun! Otherwise, kinda went down hill for our first time being here.
Our wait time for a table on a busy Sunday (10am) was as expected but the hostess was over estimating wait times. It was busy but you could see open spaces and people leaving actively. We were told 30 - 35 mins but waited about 10?, but this turned away 3-4 groups while we were waiting, so not good for business to do that.
Once we were sat, we waited 10 minutes for a server to come by, another 10 for our two drinks (coffee and apple juice). 20 minutes in total for that is WAY too long.
My daughterâs breakfast came out first and her pancake was raw in the middle. No server in sight, so I am waiting ANOTHER 5-10 minutes for someone to come by. Finally, my food comes out but I had to ask the busser to get another pancake for herâŠWhere was my server? No clue lol! Which is funny because there are staff everywhere but none acknowledging guests or checking if people needed anything.
The food was OK, I did not like what I got. Iâve had better from a great food truck in town. It just lacked flavor and depth imo. Food was fresh though.
Server didnât come by until the end when I asked to pay. In all, it took an hour from being seated to get one kids breakfast and chilaquiles.
Summary: Staff are inexperienced, wait times for food/service is too long, the food is mid, but ambience is fantastic. If you want something good for your instagram or to get drinks, but donât care to eat, this...
Read moreIâve been here 3 times the last 2 months and all times the food had good flavor but got to our table cold. The first time we went for dinner, we ordered the Molcajete and I enjoyed everything except for the carne asada, which had a weird taste and tough texture. The second time we went for breakfast and ordered the chilaquiles trio with al pastor, cafe de olla, and the strawberry shortcake pancakes. The flavor of the chilaquiles was great, the Al pastor was okay but sparse, and the overall temperature of the food was barely warm like it had been sitting for a while. The cafe de olla was lukewarm, however the mug was hot so Iâm sure they just warmed it up in a microwave. The concha that came with the coffee was okay but kind of stale. The pancakes again had good flavor but they werenât warm. The ice cream bar appeared to have been melted and refrozen. The sever we had only seen maybe three times tops the entire time we were there. The third time we came was for breakfast again and we again ordered the chilaquiles trio with the banana pudding pancakes. The food came out fast but was surprisingly still barely warm which makes me think they had the plates sitting out before we even ordered. I wouldnât mind waiting a little longer for fresh and hot food. The pancakes were great, again only complaint was the temperature. We really wanted to like this place since itâs new and a little different from other restaurants we have in Maricopa but Iâd honestly maybe only come back for drinks and...
Read moreNewly opened restaurant that is easily the best in Maricopa (and itâs not close).
I visited on a Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised by the short wait. I expected it to be long, but it turned out to be just 20 minute wait, and we were seated in about 7 minutes.. We were greeted by Amanda, who was super friendly and gave us great recommendations. We tried a flight of mimosas, and the strawberry one was our favorite. The food was delicious and definitely worth the price. The kitchen was a bit backed up, which is understandable for a new spot, and it took about 30 minutes for our food after the drinks. I tried the breakfast molcajete, which was flavorful and worth the $20, though it was pretty hot! My wife got the huevos, and they were great too.
Service was great, food was great, atmosphere was good. Value was on par I think with the quality.
Areas to improvement for management:
Water had zero ice and was clearly tap water. The filtration needs serious attention. It was awful. I opted for a Sprite, but you can still take the poor filtration water in that as well.
WiFi - we get poor cell reception, so this would be a great option.
Menu - it can get pretty messy on there with all the drinks and food on a small table. I highly recommend laminating your menus to avoid staining etc.
Canât...
