Under new management may be the reason we were disappointed with our visit today. The menu is the same, but the food is just not that good anymore. This May also explain the lack of guests inside this restaurant.
They advertised a Family Combo Valentines Day Special out front. But the price was exactly what it states in the menu. Not sure why they call it a special.
The Caesar salad was lacking in dressing (and mostly crunchy leaf stems). Felt like we were eating plain lettuce. Had to request additional dressing.
Ordered 1 doz wings. Wings have 2 sections, the drumette and the flat 2-bone section. Normally a restaurant provides both sections, in this case that should have been 6 of each section. But no... there were 10 flat 2-bone sections and only 2 drumettes. Additionally, they were not crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They were rather dry altogether.
And then there's the pizza. Definitely no longer NY Style. We requested the Brooklyn Boys Works, subbing pepperoni for the sausage and ham, i.e., 3x Pepperoni. I expected the pizza to be covered in Pepperoni. Nope! They don't even put toppings on the entire pie - i.e., up to the edge. They left about 1 to 1.5 inches bare. The flavor from the previous owners is gone. Crust is simply bread. The tomato sauce has no recognizable flavor. And there's insufficient cheese.
And, without the flavor, the pricing seems a bit steep anymore.
Didn't recommend any of the dishes listed by Google as can't say as there's any reason to make a recommendation.
Oh well... on the hunt for a...

My response was sorry I just got off work his response was you got to get here earlier :-/ I asked him for future reference what time do you stop serving as I look around and see people dining in still and 4-5 people at the bar , his response was 830 or 9 tonight I was a little busy so it’s a little closer to 9 . But you are not gonna serve me ? The doors are unlocked and oriole are dining but yet I got turned around at 846 .. unfortunately never got to experience any of the food , probably won’t ever step foot in there again I felt discriminated against to be honest . Read moreMy GF and I went on a Friday evening. When we arrived the restaurant was not busy and many open tables were available. We ordered a medium pizza with mushrooms...nothing fancy. After a 45 minute wait our pizza arrived. When taking it out of the pan, the outer rim of the crust was luke warm and the center of the pizza was soggy. When I brought this to the attention of the waiter and the owner, they could not give me a reasonable explanation how a pizza delivered fresh from the oven 50 feet away could be cold when delivered to the table. They swore the pizza was not sitting and could not explain why it was not hot. They offered to reheat our meal, which I refused (I did not plan on paying for rewarmed food). I told them to cancel the order and to give me a bill for my drinks, which they did. I was then treated rudely by the owner and my GF and I left. They did offer me a $10.00 gift card, which I decklined as I will not be returning to this establishment. They not only brought what they think is a taste of Brooklyn to Maricopa...they also brought a lousy attitude and idea of service with them...
