Mr.E Comics — Local services in Maricopa

I've been coming here since opening and am appalled I haven't reviewed my favorite store.

The store is neat and well-organized, even when hit with a slew of customers coming through. This is a fan-centric store and the care and selection makes that obvious. From comics and books to cards and board games and everything in between (including miniatures), the true magic of this store isn't the merchandise but the welcome any fan will feel, regardless of your particular fandom. Fans of Magic: the Gathering, D&D, Pokémon, Star Trek, Star Wars, DC, Marvel, Disney, Warhammer, Avatar, Naruto, and before I out my every fandom... let's just say that they cater to all and every person I've brought through have found something particular to their fandom.

The friendly atmosphere lends to excessive lingering (on my part) and playing in the store whether its an impromptu RPG session or an all-day card tournament, the store feels more like a community gathering place than a store. I've met several people in town with shared fandoms and have joined groups all over town. This is the perfect hub to meet like-minded people and enjoy your hobbies with others.

The owner is welcoming, helpful and goes out of his way to make everyone feel like they are part of the store. I've never felt pushed to buy and have been encouraged to look around and spend any time there I'd like.

M. E Comics has always been reliable in every aspect of the comic business. I have never had a problem. They have the best selection of comics, you gi oh, Pokemon and magic the gathering . The owner is very professional & dedicated to making his customers feel welcome. He has great prices & all the supplies you need.. Solid 5 STAR rating from me!!

Please take into consideration that he is solely running the store on his own from 9:00 in the morning until sometimes 10 to 12:00 p.m. Working 7 days a week, that can take a toll on a person. He may be sometimes late opening the store (which he takes accountability for) But he's...

Mr. E's is head-to-toe legit.

Their prices on MtG singles are awesome. Their prices on MtG boosters are awesome. The membership program is awesome. Vibe - you guessed it...awesome.

I should add that they gave a really solid amount of store credit for cards that weren't in any way in demand. If I can trade cards that aren't on major buylists for store credit at a place this chill, count me in. More than a fair price and that store credit goes far when prices are this good.
