I urge anyone reading this to try the place out. I most definitely will be back because I love it, I see the growth, and potential of it being the best spot in Marietta!
I frequent here because I live right down the street and I really wanted to give more stars but the more I go, the more issues I notice. The one time I sat at a table no one else was there yet service is still slow. The waitress was ok but could be a bit more pleasant and I don’t even remember seeing her smile. Love the bartenders. Sometimes the staff does get caught up smoking hookah or talking amongst themselves or whoever but not a huge deal for me once I get served at a reasonable time. My issue is with the food. People are complaining about the portion but the portions are worth it for the prices. 1/2 lb of shrimp is $1 less than pirate boil and juicy crabs. Y’all lying on here. The only thing that really bothers me is the sauce. The name is lemon butter but the sauce does not give that. Sometimes it’s thick or sometimes it’s water down but after eating it a few times it is overbearing. And the worst part is they put it on everything! Even the wings. If they have other wing options I am pretty sure they will make extra money. But to continually put a seafood sauce on wings, it makes the wings taste funny as if they were fried with seafood. The first time may be ok, but after it’s a no. My last time there I asked for my wings with no sauce. They sent out white wings, barely fried with no seasoning what so ever. The bartender was helpful and she explained that there was a language barrier between the kitchen but Mexicans are known to season food so idk what’s up with them. I made my way to the side of the bar to tell the waitress how to say the word seasoning in Spanish and saw the most unbelievable sh!t with my eyes. I won’t say, because I do not want to deter anyone from going but will go back to personally speak to the owner. In the end, I no longer wanted my wings and the manager was great with compensating the issue. I will agree with everyone on this post about the food not being seasoned. It is drowned with this sauce that doesn’t have a distinctive taste. It is definitely not lemon and butter. The drinks are great, but gives downtown prices and higher but I notice other spots in the area are also so it is what it is. Actually drinks in the city are around $14 but if u wanna have those prices, allow the bartenders to free pour.
The place has great potential and I will always go back. I feel like it will out-do others in the area like barber bistro, lomi, and euro lounge. Great djs, especially on Monday. It’s beautiful on the inside and has a patio. I have been in the food service industry for over 15 years, managed and opened bars, so my advice for them would be to train the kitchen. Bring someone in that bridges the language gap with the cooks. Most of the reviews on here reflects on them. Have them season the food versus drowning it in that non lemon butter sauce. Although I agree with the food portion and price, find a larger shrimp vendor. Please have other options besides that sauce. It gives lazy. Give options of different types of wings. This is Atl, and u are doors down from a JR cricket… lemon pepper wings are a sensibly smart option. Lastly train the staff. If it’s empty I shouldn’t be sitting no more than 2 minutes before I’m greeted, no more than 5 -8 minutes for drinks, and shouldn’t have to wait another 10 -15 minutes after the drinks are received to place food orders. I be in no rush so I don’t complain but I sat and read numerous reviews so it’s an obvious issue.
I also wanted to leave notes about a review. To the guy that is saying this is the hood, far from it! Your $200,000 car is more likely to get broken into in Buckhead vs Marietta. If you are so worried about your vehicle maybe you should research spots before you drive it there. The spot is 6 minutes from the battery and many lounges are located in plaza. The review screamed...
Read moreMy experience was less than desired. I came with 2 friends. We sat at the bar. There is no one in the resturant except 2 other customers at bar. We all provided our cocktail orders. One friend was served promptly with her cocktail. While myself and my other friend waited atleast 10-15 mins as we watched the bartender complete other tasks then walk away from the bar to the back. When she returned asked her if she forgot about us. She then stated she had been at work since 11a alone. This was around 730p. Some grace was given learning this but the lack of communication to the customer and delayed serving is what is disappointing when there is an automatic 20% gratuity. To make matters worse the drinks ordered felt price gouged. As $18 for 1 cocktail thats was maybe 4oz is unreal. Bartender made no mention of the price nor was the price listed anywhere. No way would have ordered had we known!!
In addition, it gets worse. Ordered my meal. Cluster of crablegs which I may add were amazingly good. But my mussels ordered listed as $7 on menu arrived with 95% of shells closed. I returned them and asked for them to be taken off my ticket. I was then greeted by a male staff perhaps he was the manager. I'm really not sure because he did not share his name or title. He advised me that they no longer refund items on the menu due to a policy change. Asked if I wanted them to prepare again. I declined due to fear of mussels not being fresh. I was offerred the option of a replacement food option. I declined bc I didnt want another menu item. I did advise they could replace with another cocktail. He agreed. Well, I get my bill and what was listed on menu as $7 for mussels I'm charged $9. This overall experience did not make me feel valued as a customer nor that my revenue was appreciated. Please do better Lemon Butter. As a fellow foodie, please know that good tasting food AND customer service go hand in hand. Appropriate staffing is also key. You can't have one without the other. Making this post was not to call you out, well maybe it is, with the hope that you improve and future customers dont have this experience. I will continue to support our community but not in...
Read moreI have been to this establishment 3 times. My very first visit was great . I sat at the bar order a Lemon drop, Bang Bang shrimp and fries. The waitress at the time was pleasant and my food was served fresh. My second visit, I ordered online while in the parking lot. My order consisted of just the salmon bites & fries. I proceed inside once my text said that my order was ready. I walked straight to the bar to pick up my order. No one acknowledged me for a while. The two waitresses/bartenders continued their conversation with each other. Someone came from the kitchen and saw me standing and waiting and asked if I was being helped? I explained that I was there for my pick up order. After being there for about 10 minutes my order wasn’t even ready. Mind you no one was in the restaurant. Tonight, my 3rd time going there. I ordered for myself and my daughter for our lunch break since we work less than 5min away. I ordered online for pick up. My text said that our food would be ready at 7pm, I arrived at 7:15, giving them some time to get it prepared. When I arrived the young lady goes to kitchen and comes out with my order. Me not being a fool check the order before I leave. These people had the nerve to combine both of my orders in one container. We only ordered a shrimp basket with Mac & cheese and Bangbang shrimp with Cajun fries. She takes the bag back to the kitchen to correct the order and make it separate. By this time the food was cold and them fries was most definitely not fresh. I felt like I wasted $40. I’m sorry that this is a negative review, but please take accountability for the encounters that is customers have in your establishments. The service must match for...
