I was pleasantly satisfied with all parts of this restaurant. Walking in it was questionable. Smaller than expected with only one person working the floor. There was only one table occupied at 7:30 for dinner. It came off as a small, past it's prime, neighborhood location. By the end of our meal tables were filled. Three to go customers at the counter as well. We were there two minutes and received our menus and water and were asked for a drink order, no long wait. The menu had more choices than I was used to at Thai restaurants. We started with both my wife and I getting tom kha chicken soup. The soup was a larger portion than the small that we ordered It was seasoned perfectly and had a good amount of chicken. My wife had crispy mango duck, I ordered beef green curry and we split chicken masaman curry. The duck was more than perfectly prepared. The right amount of crispy skin with little bits to break off and enjoy the flavor. No fattiness becaused it was rendered off. Both curry plates were huge. Seasoned excellently, not watery or bland by any means. When I finished I got another bowl of rice so my bowl would be spotless. Oh yeah, my iced tea glass never hit bottom. That's an enormous plus for me. When we were finished we asked for boxes and the check. Immediately we were presented with an electronic screen reader for our credit card. The greeter, server, food runner, cashier stayed to assist us with this progressive mode of paying. I talked with the multiple hats dude and he informed me they had been open five and a half months. Three people, multi hat and a two person kitchen crew ran the restaurant seamlessly. I also learned multi hat's name was Phek, the chef and dad was Eddie and mom was sous chef. Congratulations to an excellent establishment manned by excellent people. I would have loved to add pictures but my phone has been wonky. Next time though I'll...
Read moreWhere to begin 🤔. When I first walked the amazing aroma of whatever was being cooked at the moment invited me in. I was greeted by a gentleman who I later found out was one of the owners, Richard. This was my 1st time visiting but not my friend who had ordered takeout many times before. She mentioned that she was introduced to this restaurant by friends and family who had raved about how good the food was, mind you they live in N.Y. The restaurant wasn't full to capacity but they were plenty busy with takeout orders and some patrons coming in and out during our visit. You can visibly tell how well taken care of the restaurant is by how clean and tidy everything is. We enjoyed an appetizer, Rose bundles, that was plenty flavorful and just enough for 2 to enjoy. Our entrees were the Panang Curry w/Shrimp and Pineapple fried rice 😋. Both were so delicious. I especially loved the Panang, left me licking my spoon after one taste. Lastly, while we waited for our to-go orders (as if we hadn't ate enough lol, it was for our hubbies) the other owner surprised us with a delicious treat, green tea ice-cream. It was so good!! I had never tried it before. They also have other good looking desserts to try and I can't wait to do so. I enjoyed every second of our visit today. Richard kept our cups full and was very attentive without being over bearing or pushy. At no point did we ever feel rushed to leave so they could clear the table. We will without a doubt return whether dine in or takeout. Such a pleasant experience and I must add that the prices are super reasonable and portions are generous 😀 you won't be...
Read moreThis is the BEST Thai food we have found outside of Thailand. My husband lived in Thailand and still thinks this is some of the best Thai ever. A family owned place, the service is fantastic - our water glasses never got less than half full before the staff refilled them. Our questions were answered about different dishes, and suggestions about how spicy we might like. We had the Namtok salad and Tom Kha soup as appetizers, both just perfection. For entrees we chose the green curry with shrimp and the drunken noodles with pork. The curry was very good, but we fell in love with the drunken noodles. In all of the dishes the meats were perfectly tender, not overcooked; the vegetables crisp-tender and colorful. If I were to change anything, it would have been to decrease the spiciness of the noodles a touch, but thats a personal preference. Full, but unable to resist, we tried the mango and coconut sticky rice. OMG. Again, just perfection in flavors and textures. We spent the night in a hotel and then went back when they opened at lunchtime to get the Tom Kha soup as takeout for when we got home, and another sticky rice. I was warned it wouldn't travel or reheat well, so I ate it in the car on the way home. Never enjoyed that drive so much! Caveats: They can get very busy, and all the food is prepared to order, not simmering while waiting for customers. So be a little patient while this fabulous food is prepared. Also, when super busy, they may temporarily suspend the takeout business so they can concentrate on existing customers. Can't wait for...
