Food was...okay.. Oxtails too sweet and the "greens" were definitely not worth the 2.50 substitution charge. But i gave this place a one star because of the attitude. We are from up north and down here visiting my mother.. that "southern hospitality" is apparently lost on this establishment as the (I'm assuming) owner was very rude and mouthy. I started with me speaking to my husband and her butting in. I gave her a puzzled look as i was not talking to her. She replies oh you were talking to "him". I replied that "him" is my husband to which she replies "i didn't ask who he was to you, i was just asking for clarification"... and then as we are eating, she was really rude to the door dash driver that came in that was only trying to confirm he had the correct order because they refused to give him a receipt or write the name on the bag. And then refused to give him the name that he ask for to confirm he was picking up the correct order. Trash atmosphere and trash attitude spend your money elsewhere. This is NOT worth the headache.

First time trying this place and I will never go back. What gets me is that the customer service is on point while you're there ordering take out. Then you get home and the food is garbage! I ordered brown stewed chicken, cabbage, mac & cheese and coco bread. Mac & cheese was soggy and extra soft and tasted terrible! The rice and peas looked dry..that is the part that wasn't smothered with all the gravy. Looked like it had been sitting for days. Then the cabbage was too soft, again like it was old. The chicken had good flavor and wasn't dry but this coco bread....they bamboozled me because it was soft in the bag. Well, by the time I got home 10 minutes later it was hard on both sides. ( I have the video to prove it) They obviously heated it up in the microwave before handing it over. Don't waste your time nor money here.

This place is absolutely worth spending your money! The food was delicious and full of flavor, and the service was excellent. My partner wanted soul food for his birthday, and after trying two other spots that didn’t even have simple mac and cheese or collard greens, we found Natty’s on Google. We called ahead to check if they had everything in stock, and they did! When we arrived, Nellie was kind enough to have saved us a cup of mac and cheese! Such a thoughtful gesture. We ordered the Rasta Pasta, and it was hands down the best Jamaican food I’ve had in a while! Nellie was extremely kind and made us feel truly welcomed. I do not regret taking my partner here for his birthday. We both left very satisfied😊 This place is 100% worth visiting. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you so, so much!

Overall, Natty's is amazing. It is THE best food that I've ever tasted in my entire life. The idea of Jamaican Soul Food in itself sounds genius but until you actually try some of their dishes like the jerk chicken dressing, collard greens (made out of nothing but pure love; they're unlike ANY collards you will ever taste), mac & cheese and curry/jerk chicken just to name a few, then you will truly understand. They also serve Jamaican favorites like patties, cocoa bread and bean pies. Everything on the menu is soooo good. The staff is also amazing, as it is a family business. They are all so kind and treat all of their customers like family. The restaurant is ALWAYS clean... for me that is a big deal. The prices for the food are awesome. I love that they offer lunch and dinner prices. I also like the fact that the restaurant has expanded recently with a lounge for hosting different events throughout the week. The only problem I have is that it seems like when I'm craving the food really badly and go to get it, they're sometimes closed, despite being within regular business hours. I just feel that a note or sign should be left on the door for customers at least saying that they're closed for the day and when they'll reopen. This last time of me craving Natty's and not being able to get it only resulted in me making a bad decision, going to another Jamaican restaurant across the street and ending up disappointed and left with a stomach virus because the food wasn't properly cooked in a clean environment. I would also suggest bringing back the mango lemonade at least once a week. I've been a customer here for a long time and I can truly say that this restaurant is one of the best restaurants in the city. The food and service here cannot...

The place is called Natty’s, but it should be called Notty’s — as in, not go there again.

This is my second time eating at Natty’s. When I tried it the first time, it was not good. It tasted like they had reheated some food from the day before. The gravy was ultra thick, but some kind of way it still tasted bland with no flavor. I wanted to give them a try because I’m new to Marietta, and I really wanted to find a good Jamaican spot out here—because the pickings are slim.

Let’s talk about the restaurant itself. When I got there, the place just looked run down—old, not clean, and honestly gave off “rat hole” vibes. But I had to tell myself that you can't judge a book by its cover.

I ordered the oxtails. Let me be real—they looked like throw up. Just dark and sloppy. The rice and peas? Mushy with an odd, almost sour taste. Not fresh at all. The cabbage had no flavor—none. Just sad and boiled. The plantains were mushy too, like they’d been sitting too long. Nothing on the plate had any life to it.

And the service? I could tell they were busy, but the lady at the front treated me like I was bothering her just by showing up. No greeting, no smile—just attitude like I ruined her day by walking in.

I really wanted to support a Jamaican spot in the area, but this ain’t it. From the food to the vibe, everything was just off.

Natty’s might be the name, but Notty’s is what it should be called—because I will not be going back.

To sum it up, the food was a flop, the vibe was off, and the service had an attitude. What...

So I’m mad at the reviews because I assumed the food would at least decent... I ordered the jerk chicken plate initially with Mac and cheese but noticed it was old as hell couldnt believe she still tried to serve it. So I asked for the cabbage instead. It was 640 when I paid for my food. I went straight to my car to eat because I was hungry. I keep smelling a bbq smell & I’m hoping & praying that they didn’t put sauce on my chicken. The food was so nasty I left it in the parking lot. Meat was burnt cabbage over cooked just all bad. Wasted 12 dollars might as well have it to the man down the street who needed more. I will gladly ride past now knowing I gave them a chance.

**in response to owner since they responded your jerk chicken plate is 11.00 my order came up to 12.00 because I asked for oxtail gravy which I was charged for. I didn’t get a drink. I left the food in the parking lot because honestly the lady was nice & didn’t want to go back in there an act rude. She already didn’t have any help & the food she had was no good! So I did right by leaving it there because I did my part by supporting another black owned business but like establishments like yours thrive on mediocrity. Be...
