Artesana Ice Cream — Restaurant in Marion

Oh, the summer goodness! This was my first visit to Artesana Ice Cream, but it certainly won't be my last. I met my daughter and two grandsons here for ice cream. They have LOTS of flavors. Don't be afraid to try one you've never heard of before. That's what I did. I got a scoop of Raspberry Lemon Pie sorbet and one scoop of Blackberry Lavendar sorbet. SO DELICIOUS. My daughter took one taste of my Raspberry Lemon Pie and she changed her order to get that. The Blackberry Lavendar had a few blackberry seeds but it was so refreshing and tasty. My favorite was the Raspberry Lemon Pie with a graham cracker crumble mixed in. When I'm back in that area, I'll definitely stop by. My daughter doesn't live too far from there. She went back the next day to get another scoop of the Raspberry Lemon Pie sorbet. It's that good! The place is very clean and colorful. There was only one server there that day. I went to Artesia today and I realized not only one thing but two things first what a stupid name for an ice cream place I don’t know I don’t know who came up with this, but it’s very weird unless it has some deeply rooted family meaning then I’m not OK with it Second second I clearly came at the wrong time because I was greeted at the door with a trainee and three employees who still took 45 minutes to give me my damn ice cream I had three orders of ice cream and two out of three of them. They took them to the back room, which I felt very suspicious and unsafe. you should discuss what your employees are actually putting in the ice cream and you should watch out and make sure that no one‘s actually tampering with your ice cream other than the service, the ice cream was pretty good, but it was not needed to be a wait that long. I will not be returning and I hope you have a good day. The train was super awkward and quite frankly rude but I couldn’t understand half of the words she was saying due to her mumble this generation...

I was really looking forward to trying out this ice cream shop, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. We arrived during their posted business hours, only to find that the shop was closed. There was no sign or explanation as to why they weren't open, which was very frustrating.It's quite unprofessional to not adhere to the listed hours or at least update customers with any changes. We planned our visit based on their schedule, and it was a waste of time and effort. I hope they improve their communication with customers in the future. I can't comment on the quality of their ice cream, but based on this experience, I doubt I'll be returning...
