Terrible. Aggrevating. For valentine's day my girlfriend decided to take me and our year old son out to dinner early. Upon arrival there were probably 20 people standing outside so we thought they may be busy. We still go inside to check and there are tables all over. But there are about 20 teenage girls between the door where we are and the host. Girls running in and out. A couple girls even ran into my girlfriend and son and just kept laughing as they ran out. I was instantly aggravated nobody was controlling these girls or telling them to wait outside or off to the side somewhere. It was like total chaos in the area. We patiently waited and finally the host told the girls to move out of the way. Once we told the host their were 3 of us we got a seat within a couple minutes. We go to sit down and the table was soaked. You could see standing water all over it. I ask the host to wipe it off for us since we had no napkins. He said no problem and did it quickly. We sit there for a bout 10 minutes and had not yet talked to anyone or been asked for drinks. We still are sitting there and a table of 8 are seated next to us. A waiter quickly runs over to them takes there drink orders and walks off. We wait about 5 more minutes (20 total minutes now) the waiter comes back and takes their order. We tried to get his attention and he ignored us. We were 3 feet away come on. At this point my girlfriend is fuming and my 1 year old is out of gold fish and starting to fuss. So she goes to the host and asks her if we can get someone to our table. He apologizes and says he'll get someone right on it. 30 seconds later we have a waiter. He takes or drink orders and comes back with them probably about 3 minutes. Slams them on the table hard enough they spill out and says he'll be right back to get our order. 10 minutes go by the guy never comes back to us. At this point we've had enough. She tells me to grab our son we get up and walk put. Never have I been the aggravated at a buffalo wild wings. The service was absolutely terrible. So we went to the place next door (mcdonalds) and had a much better dinner together. At least there the people were friendly and took our order! It's sad when mcdonalds gets a higher rating from us than a buffalo wild wings!! Completely disappointed with them but at least our family night was...
Read moreI'm typically not one to complain about bad service so instead I'd like to give you a few tips on how to make your experience a bit less nauseating.
When you are seated and drink orders are taken, find a tv that interests you. It will make your stay seem less time consuming.
Drink the water they give you, drink it fast. This will make you have to use the restroom while waiting for your drinks and food to arrive. Immediately after ordering your food, but before your server leaves, ask for silverware. Trust me on this one. At this point, reacquaint yourself with your favorite sports cast on the tv. Pause only to use the restroom (taking a considerable amount of time), sip your drink and all but ignore your serve if they come to you and apologize about how long it's taking, sports are more important at this point. Besides, what the kitchen does is not their fault.
If you haven't passed out by the time your food arrives ask for silverware again. Take the next 5 minutes or so to neatly organize your plate and table setting as you anticipate the meal sitting in front of you. If you got something that does not require silverware be proper and wait for the others in your party to get theirs.
As your server nearly runs by you attempting to help other customers do anything you can to attract their attention. Literally... anything. Remind them that you are waiting for silverware.
When the utensils arrive be sure to ask for your bill. I realize at this point you haven't even began to eat, but again, trust me on this. Now, attempt to enjoy your luke warm, mediocre food. If your lucky, you didn't drink all of your beer before digging into your hot wings. Don't expect a refill.
As soon as your bill comes back produce a form of payment. Just tip the poor server, it's not ALL their fault. There are many more positions in this establishment that are at fault. First and foremost being the management. If you're lucky you will get your card or change back a few minutes after you're done eating. If not, there's always sports!
Bottom line, I have been to other BWWs, and none of them come close to this one. If you don't have all night to spend waiting around, go...
Read moreWe live in Fort Wayne and love Bdubs. So we were visiting and decided to head to eat at this location. It wasn't super busy because it was 930p. We had a party of 5. Everyone else had their food that was seated around us.
My daughter ordered a bufflo ranch burger. We ordered Asian zing and fried pickles. My in-laws ordered Sweet bbq boneless and asian zing and onion rings. We waited a long time for food which we understood because every where is short staffed. By the time we got our food there was one other table left around us. When the waitress brought our food out, she only delivered half the order. She brought my husband and I's food and my daughters and fried pickles which were undercooked, soggy. She brought my daughter a bufflo chicken wrap. Not what she ordered, she if course took it back. We waited another 10 mins for my in-laws food. She brought our asian zing for both of them. My father in-law just got over throat cancer and cannot eat any spicy food or it hurts and forgot the onion rings. She took it back. After waiting another 10 to 15 mins she finally brought out the correct food. My father said the wings tasted different and were hard. We have a notion that they re-fried the wings and spun them in the correct sauce instead or making new ones. Also because they came out way faster then the first time. She never apologized and laughed while saying, you were the first table I have messed up all night and we were slammed earlier. None of us responded obviously because we just wanted to eat and get home which is an 1hr drive. She walked away and we didnt hardly see her again to get more sauce for the wings or drink refills. She never offered to take some of the bill off or anything other than just remaking the food which we waited longer for. By the time we left almost 1130p my in-laws didn't tip they were so upset. We tipped her 10.00 for our 63$ meal. We usually tip more but we were upset for the whole experience over all. As we were walking out she took our slip my husband signed and we could hear her say are you kidding me after reading what we left. If we ever visit again. We will never visit this location again...
