Pizza King Of Marion - North — Restaurant in Marion

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a Stromboli sub lol when I picked up the food I noticed the pizza was in a bag lol never have I seen that but I let it go I paid 27$ for my order ! It’s snowing and ice is all over my car ! I got home and opened the food and realized no pepperoni on the pizza or my sandwich so I called the store … they wanted me to drive back to the store in this weather to show them there was no pepperoni!! I said no I’m not coming back out in this weather! Then he said well you can bring the pizza back tomorrow and u still have to have 12 slices in it ! Lol what ?? Ummm no !! I said I paid extra money for pepperoni on my pizza and sandwich I paid with my card can I just be reimbursed some money ?? He said no we have to have prop there is no pepperoni! SMH I said well do I need me to send you a picture or something like this is unbelievable! I work in the restaurant industry and I have for over 10 yrs never in my life did I ever hear no nothing like that !!! I’m very disappointed and I will never eat there again smh the Stromboli sub was nothing but some tiny grounded up sausage there was more sauce on it than anything!! my favorite pizza place. i go there every week pretty much. for the first time ever i think, something was wrong. very friendly the first time i was there, very rude and short when i called about it. said i could bring it back, was told “i don’t really care.” was told i had to be there before close because “we want to go home.” okay, i get there 3 minutes later. i bring the pizza to show them, they told me there was nothing wrong. super condescending. another guy shows up, his order is wrong too. she rolls her eyes and says she’ll fix it. i waited inside and could hear her complaining while she closed. she pulled it out, asked if it was okay and i left.

lo and behold, this one’s right. but they were the same pizza?? no.

i get wanting to go home when it’s time to close. i work in restaurants too. however, sometimes that doesn’t work out. anyone in food service can tell you that. that’s the job. not to mention that the reason they were staying later than they wanted was because they messed up the orders.

Worst service I have EVER had! Pizza King North in Marion has to be the worst pizza establishment I have ever visited. Phones were busy for over an hour. I figured they were busy. So I drove to the location at 11pm on Friday, August 30th. I passed one employee as I went in, she was going out to smoke. I waited at the counter for 10 mins before Ben came from the back to take my order. The women came back in at 11:13pm and just leaned on the counter. Meanwhile, Ben had just started making my pizza. Two people werr in the establishment that had finished with their meal. Clearly the two employees didn't want to work and were just hoping to get to closing without doing any more work. Don't worry, I'll make it easy for you, I won't ever be back! I strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere and not frequent this...
