Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Marion

1 would have given a zero if I could have. So disappointing. Driving back from a long road trip an icecream sounded so good when a DQ sign showed up for the next exit. The store was not open.. only the drive through. We ordered chicken strips and 3 ice cream deserts. They asked us to pull to side and wait. Several minutes later the chicken strip arrived but no ice creams. And as we were trying to get the delivery persons attention the car next to us was trying to do the same because parts of their order was missing as well. Then while my husband was trying to tell her what items were missing she yelled at him then starting walking away without finding out what items were actually missing.. so he yelling at her across the parking lot with the missing items. Finally got the 3 items.. Immediately upon bitting into my turtle blizzard there was a distinct taste of salt.. and a lot of it. My grandaughters strawberry Sundae seemed okay as did my husband's banna split, although he woke up this morning with a stomach ache. The bizzard was unedible. So very disappointed that adult would take such actions against a customer who was only asking for his complete order. I wish the store would have been open so tat I could have 1. Went in to personally discuss with the manager and 2. To have had the items remain in front of me. Just disappointing overall and will definitely...

We've been accustomed to the sub-par service and excessive waits for food, but today pushed it too far. Our cashier made it quite obvious she didn't want to be there. You could barely hear her, she couldn't look us in the eye, and her overall attitude was that she had NO desire to be there. We, as usual, had to pull away to wait on food while we watched about 4 or 5 cars go through the drive through and on their way. When we get out food, some of the items are nearly inedible. The brownie al a mode had a rock hard burnt brownie and completely melted ice cream, and out burgers had so much ketchup and mustard the buns were even soggy from it besides all that was on the wrapper from spewing out. Since so many cars flew through the line after us, and I saw nobody go inside I can only assume nobody else was ordering hot food and so they wouldn't be overwhelmed. I'm quite disappointed in all of this all together. I think this is the final time we can put up with...

I ordered a sandwich with only extra mayo and pickle. The woman who took my order seemed annoyed and said "it comes with xyz ingredients" so I repeated what I wanted, because I worked fast food for years, and I think any fast food employee should take that to mean I just want it made to my liking not as it comes? And then she proceeded to put only mayo anyway, with no pickles. I just took it home and added them myself, so clearly not that big of an issue, just off putting that she didn't seem to want to modify the sandwich. To my memory it doesn't take extra long to make it different than the standard base, so I'm unsure why she seemed put out.

Edit* Every time I go through here now and the same employee/manager is there, they make my food wrong and the manager has a bad attitude. Even though this location is around the corner from my house, I will be going to a different location...
