Marion TeaZenTea — Restaurant in Marion

They are still fantastic tasting and manners wise, but I was very disappointed they got rid of the board games. It's just slot machines for gambling now. At the Herrin location (before the move to Marion), I would go very often to get a drink and play board games and just catch up and talk with friends. I haven't been to the Marion location until recently. I understand the gaming machines might be a good source to bring people in, but gambling machines are very common in this area already and I personally think it looks trashy if they're everywhere you go. Overall, the gals who were there are very nice. I will unfortunately have to give 2/5 stars though for numerous reasons. They removed the board games and replaced it with gambling machines, making it less family friendy, which is sketchy and gross. I miss the gals that worked at the Herrin location, they always knew what they were doing, were nice, and would chit-chat with you, and would make your order correct. We got our drinks and we were missing one. They were also out of a lot of ingredients, so one of our drinks was not correct. I am embarrassed to go inside after I saw the gaming machines, lowkey overall a disappointing experience since the move...

Let me just say this, Teazentea is hands down the best boba spot in the area currently. Absolutely no one is doing it like them right now in my opinion. The hospitality from the staff is consistently above and beyond and the cleanliness of the store surpassed my expectations truly. It’s such a vibe, with a cute and simple aesthetic that brings a sort of comforting vibe. The drinks are absolutely amazing ALWAYS. Typically I enjoy coming here, however this time I had family from out of town and I was honestly embarrassed. The worker was new. She was fighting with another worker pretty loudly. She had no idea what she was really doing. Several things we asked for she was huffing and saying she just don’t know… my nephew ended up with white milk and strawberry boba in it. Plain…. I ended up with strawberry flavored milk with no matcha in mine and it should have been a matcha latte. The brown sugar milk tea was nasty aa well. After spending 50 here and waiting 25 minutes for drinks we left....
