** Update: They did it again.... for a fourth time. I don't know how you can take an order for a Joes Special, on cauliflower crust, add Canadian bacon and extra cheese, and then hand the customer a pizza with nothing on it but Canadian bacon and cheese. Here we sit again, taking an hour to pick up a pizza up from a place that's 3 miles from our house. No offer to refund all or part of our money to compensate us for having to sit here again while they attempt to make our pizza correctly. If there were more options in town we would NEVER order here again. This is the second time in two months they made our pizza incorrectly.
The first time we ordered a cauliflower crust Joe's Special plus extra cheese and Canadian bacon. When we got home with the pizza, we found all they put on the pizza was cheese and Canadian bacon but left off the "Joe's Special" which is something like 5 toppings. The receipt verified it was rung up correctly, it was just made incorrectly. We called and were told they'd remake the pizza and didn't need to bring the first one back. We returned with the pizza anyway so they could verify we were being honest. They remade the pizza... incorrectly... again. Finally on the third try they got it right. So 90 minutes and $30 after we ordered our pizza we finally were able to eat it.
This evening we ordered the same pizza as before and drove down to wait on it. They brought it out and we started to leave when I asked my wife if she checked to make sure it was correct. Shocker... once again they only put cheese and Canadian bacon on it.
The pizza is great if you can get what you ordered and paid for. We love Joe's sauce, but it's very, very frustrating to never know whether it's going to be made correctly and how long it's going to take to get the...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars l would! By far the worst, most expensive place I've ever been! Small pizza was thin crust which i wasn't expecting and only 6 small pizza slices. This was more like an individual pan pizza than a small. Toppings were $1.50 each and barely any toppings. No sauce on pizza. Cheese bread was a joke too. No flavor, thin crust again...actually more like a small, over priced cheese pizza. The pizza sauce was just a canned marinara with sugar. Very disappointed. Was traveling through and tried to find a good pizza joint while on the road. My boyfriend had to eat something after because he said it felt like a snack it was so small! He's still complaining about paying $25 for this too!!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place! Cheaper to buy frozen pizza at kroger and they...
Read moreOrdered the chicago style deep dish sausage and spinach. It was not deep-dish. No stretchy cheese or any cheese at all. Really thin n not full of toppings .sauce was terrible. 3 pieces of spinach on the entire pizza and one piece of sausage on each piece. More dough then anything and the dough was salty with no flavor, No Parmesan cheese and red pepper packets came with it. Called and complained. They gave a free sausage n.cheese thin crust. It wasn't thin crust and no better then the other. Also there are no joes locations in Chicago as I checked the menu locations because i never heard of it..so we won't be eating here again. For locals it's probably good but to say it's chicago style...
