I'm confused by the other reviews. One is complaining that his or her "waitress" was inattentive. LJS does not have wait staff, so I'm not sure that person is even reviewing the right restaurant. Another reviewer claims food poisoning symptoms caused by LJS within a couple hours of eating there. There's a wide variety of things that can cause "food poisoning" but the most common bacteria take many hours (as many as 48 to 72 hours with the most common bugs, Staphylococcus or E. coli ) to manifest symptoms.
My wife and I have eaten at this location regularly for over a year, and I have eaten there off and on since 2008 when I moved to Marion and I've never had a problem with the food and rarely had a problem with an order (and I always modify my order). There have been times where my special order was prepared incorrectly, but when I've pointed it out, they've always apologized and made it right with no hesitation.
My only complaint about this place holds true with all LJS... I know when I leave my clothes will smell like fry grease, so I have to head straight home and shower and change clothes. That's just the price you pay for eating all that yummy,...

I haven't eaten here in a long time, at least a couple years. I figured I'd stop by on my way home, cause some clams sounded good. I ordered two Baja Fish tacos, and a side of clams.
What I got was two warm fish fillets on a tortilla, with some cold coleslaw slapped in it, and a small half empty box of clams... If the box was even that full.
It's 2 hours later and I'm sitting in my bathroom floor, chilling by the toilet because I'm throwing up. Before you try to say it could have been something else, I haven't eaten since lunch at 11:30 today, and the time is now 19:42 (7:42 p.m.)
I feel disgusting, my stomach feels hot and heavy. I didn't even eat that much, I know I only paid $11.06 but if I feel better tomorrow, I'm going back for my money. If the food doesn't stay inside my stomach, my money doesn't stay inside their wallets.

Read moreThe food was great! Gave 3 stars because the staff hadn't a clue what was going on with only 3 cars in the drive thru (we were the 2nd car). When the gal came to the window she gave me someone else's total (I knew was wrong - it was almost double our total). I told her what we ordered, then she gave me our correct total, and I paid. I assume she went to get the food when a different gal came to the window and gave me a wrong total again. I told her what we ordered and that we already paid. The first gal showed back up and gave us our food. It's a good thing they don't work for Chick-fil-A or McDonalds that's much busier and with 2 drive thru lanes!! 😬 They just need better communication and maybe a better system that shows the correct food order and total for the vehicle...
