Sharons Cafe — Restaurant in Marion

I stopped in because they had a high Google review and I see why. They treat you right straight from the jump. The nice ladies helped me with the menu as I do not eat pork. I was offered chicken patties and they where great had it with 3 eggs, a pancake 2 toast some orange juice and coffee. Yeah I can eat lol and I must say it was all amazing glad I didn’t go and eat Simple fast food. The staff is amazing. Offering conversations and good laughs as soon as you walk in the door. For those who come follow maps as it is in a plaza/ strip mall type deal when you first look at it but stop on in and enjoy the great food and atmosphere. Sandy was our waitress. She was super sweet and took great care of us. I have never been to a breakfast place in the south that has brown gravy instead of white gravy so of course I had to try it. The brown gravy was so so good. The biscuits were a tad dense but after I put everything together it was amazing. I got a piece of fried bologna and an over easy egg with cheese and put both on top of my biscuits with brown gravy. It was delicious and the place is so cute. They were quick and friendly and brought my mom a new thing of home fries when she pointed out that hers weren’t hot. Overall...

Great breakfast yesterday. My omelet was cooked great, not all undercooked and runny like I've gotten elsewhere. Those home fries were so neat! I've never had little potato disks like that before, and I could have eaten an entire basket of those little cuties. The coffee was not great if I can be honest about that, and I did see an employee bring in supplies that included a basic Maxwell House canister. That's just not my thing, no big deal.
