Had an amazing dining experience at Sawan Indian by Foodie Adda! The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and packed with authentic flavors, perfectly paired with the soft and buttery Garlic Naans. The Paneer Butter Masala was just as delicious — the paneer was fresh and melted in the mouth with every bite. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Special Chicken Dum Biryani — aromatic, flavorful, and layered with tender chicken and fragrant spices, truly a must-try for every biryani lover. To finish it off, the Gulab Jamun dessert was warm, soft, and soaked perfectly in syrup — a sweet ending to a delightful meal.

Went with my family for dinner - food was delicious! The restaurant is under new management, so the menu and cuisine are now South Indian food.

Don’t be deterred by poor reviews. We had a sumptuous feast with jackfruit biryani, dosas, uttapam, butter chicken, naan, and more. Everything was flavorful and the portions were generous.

The food is spicier than the previous owners as South Indian food is, so perhaps that’s why some reviews had different experiences. I suggest folks order items as “mild” on their first visit if that’s a concern.

This restaurant is under new management, who should be embarrassed by how poorly they are running it. I ordered for takeout and when attempting to pick the order was told by a guy with a deer in the headlights expression that they have no record of my order. Thanks for wasting my time. Would not recommend.
