Joe’s Bagel and Grill — Restaurant in Marlboro Township

Recently checked out Joe’s Bagel and Grill in Robertsville, NJ—and honestly, I’m confused by all the hate. Yeah, I saw the reviews complaining about pricing, gluten-free “gouging,” and service, but that wasn’t our experience at all.

We tried the gluten-free options since my partner needs them, and everything was solid. Staff were super friendly—smiling, helpful, just genuinely nice people. I went back-to-back on Friday and Saturday, no issues either time. Food was great, service was fast, and the vibe was good.

While watching my step and attempting to enter the store for the first time, my hand got caught in the makeshift door pull. Ouch! I'd been looking for a local place serving fresh Nova Lox. I love joes bagels, but the last few times I’ve tried to go it’s been closed. I understand that there was an accident, but it needs to be updated on google/joes bagel website that it is temporarily closed so that customers realize that before driving all the way there. I saw another review say the same thing and the owner replied very negatively.
