Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Marlboro Township

If I can put 0 stars I would!!! DO NOT & I MEAN DO NOT EAT HERE unless you want your stomach pumped at a hospital and you can’t use the bathroom for several days!! I don’t know what goes on behind that kitchen or what is in that kitchen but please be aware that you might be putting yourself and possibly your family at risk eating at this specific spot! I used to work at this spot, the food was changed every 20-30 mins. The food is often served cold or like if it has maggots beneath the meat ! Disgusting !! Every single staff in there needs to be retrained ESPECIALLY the manager and whoever is touching the food raw with their BARE hands !!! I was once an employee here , trust and believe they will drop a piece of meat and pick it up with their bare dirty hands after using the bathroom and throw it right back into the deep fryer !! Please please please listen to this message, maybe I can save someone or even YOU!! They either need new employees, or to change out the food every 20-30 mins to prevent any bacteria’s in the food. Please spread this message for change!!! It’s getting ridiculous that the quality of this place is TERRIBLE I’d rather go to Burger King now instead of Popeyes and this is basically the closest one to my area!! I would like to compliment the great service I always receive from Saif, the shift leader and store manager and his awesome staff. Saif always runs Popeyes as if it’s his own store and meets the customers’ highest level of satisfaction. I was very pleased yesterday with his returns after he was gone for a month and half. He’s an asset and huge gain to Popeyes corporate. The owner should be proud.

Update on 11/22/2023 I am continuing to receive an exeptional quality of service from the world best manager, Saif and his hard working and friendly staff. The quality of chicken is beyond words; always fresh, tender, and juicy. If you don't eat the chicken fast enough, they will melt in your hands before they melt in your mouth. My friend also and his family always go to this restaurant and praises the quality of food and friendliness of the manager and his staff. Popeye's will alwys be my favorite chicken, and this restaurant will continue to be a top notch as long as the manager, Saif runs it. Saif nowadays is offering an extra piece of chicken for all customers, in which I find a very smart strategy to draw more customers. I went there to buy the 10pc family bundle from the app but the app wasn’t working. The man speaking through the drive through intercom was very quiet and almost understandable. We ordered the 10pc thinking it was the family bundle, a spicy chicken sandwich, and boneless barbecue wings. We got up to the window and they gave us a spicy 10pc chicken with no sides or biscuits, the bbq boneless wings, and forgot the spicy chicken sandwich. We asked where the sides were and they said it was an app only purchase. We tried explaining the app didn’t work but they said “app only purchase” so we were out of luck and took what they gave us. My wife and I don’t eat spicy chicken and wanted the regular 10pc so we had to exchange it for the regular like we wanted in the first place. The man in the drive through must have thought we wanted a spicy 10pc even tho we said we wanted a regular 10pc family bundle and a spicy chicken sandwich. The spicy chicken sandwich was for my son and as were driving out of the drive through he noticed the spicy chicken sandwich wasn’t even in the bag. So we had to go back and pay extra to get it because they didn’t put it on the receipt despite me ordering it in the drive through.
