Wow, hold onto your sombrero because I’ve got a flavor fiesta to share! 🌮🎉
So, picture this: I waltzed into this restaurant for the very first time, and my taste buds did a little cha-cha. 🕺 The menu? Oh, it was like a treasure chest of culinary delights, each dish whispering sweet promises of deliciousness. 😋
And guess what? They’ve got not one, not two, but three different taco shell options! 🌽🌮 Flour, corn, and crunchy—because why settle for just one when you can have a taco trio? 🎶
Now, let’s talk about the wild cards—the mavericks of the menu. 🤠 Jerk chicken tacos? Check. Mexican street burger? Double check. These folks are throwing flavor curveballs, and I’m here for it! ⚾
But wait, my friends, the pièce de résistance: the chicken burrito. 🌯 Brace yourselves. It’s like a burrito the size of a small canoe, grilled to perfection on the outside. That gentle crunch meets the soft, pillowy embrace of the tortilla, and it’s like a flavor symphony in your mouth. 🎵
And that chicken? Oh, it’s not just any chicken. It’s got that char-grilled swagger, seasoned to perfection. Tender? Abundant? Juicy? You bet your guacamole-loving heart! 🥑❤️
On my burrito rating scale (yes, I have one), this bad boy is a 9.7 home run. 🏆 And the owner? Oh, they’re like the warm hug you never knew you needed. Welcoming, friendly, and making you feel like the VIP of burrito town. 🤗
So, amigos, here’s the deal: Go. Visit. Devour. Lunch, dinner, take-out—doesn’t matter. Just promise me this, you will give them a try, and I promise that you won’t leave...
Read moreAnother bait and switch menu for portions. I first went to Taco n' Lime back when the place first opened. I ordered the Carnitas Street Tacos, Chicken Street Tacos and a loaded Nacho Platter for appetizer. If I didnt take a picture of what was ordered back at that time I would have no reason to write this review. The portions were plentiful in both the Chicken and Carnitas Tacos and there was a huge platter of Loaded Nachos. There was actually left overs to bring home which made it all well worth it. Fast forward to my most recent visit. My son wife and I ordered the same items from our first time and portions were noticeable less. The Tacos were hardly filled with both chicken and Carnita meat and Taco size was appetizer size. The platter of nachos were so much less than previous visit with hardly any toppings. I had to look in my phone at photos from first visit to compare. We were all still hungry from the portion size that was given. The real issue was the price of $53.00 with 2 drinks which would have been no complaint if nothing had changed. It seems there are a few places around Marlboro that have played this portion game and from what I know they have one thing in common. I will chaulk it up as another place that I won't be spending my money. Many others near that are way better....
