We ordered 2 appetizers one with our drinks and one with our entrees- the first one was at 1/2 price but the second was not. We asked the waiter why since both were ordered before 6, we looked at the time when he walked away from taking our entree order and it was 5:54. He said that there is a time delay with the computers so that’s why it wasn’t half off. It’s not our fault if there is a time delay in the system and If it were super busy I could understand it taking longer to key in but it wasn’t- 6 minutes was more than enough time to walk from our table to the terminal to enter it. I asked when I ordered my drink what is the difference between a lemonade and a quencher to which the young man replied “lemonade doesn’t have fruit in it” I verified that the fruit was the only difference and since it was opted to go with the lemonade. When it got to the table it didn’t look right (color) so I asked if I could get more strawberry flavor in it and he said there will be an extra charge, ok fine. As soon as I took a drink when it got back to the table I found that the fruit is not the only difference between the quencher and the lemonade. So I ask it I can trade it for a Pepsi; my Pepsi gets to the table I take a drink and it is flat; I then trade that for a Mountain Dew which was better. Then our food came; I ordered chicken and broccoli Alfredo. It looked like it needed more Alfredo so I asked to get a side of Alfredo, again the waiter says there will be a charge for that- ok whatever that’s fine. 10 if not more minutes goes bY and my side of Alfredo is brought to me. Thank god I started eating it and didn’t wait because by that point my food was on the cooler side of warm. My Alfredo had like a peppery taste to it- not spicy but more like that of a bell pepper which did not compliment the meal what-so-ever. I ordered an Oreo shake to go and that was the best part. It was great that the waiter was informative and upfront about extra charges I appreciate that. Honestly though, I nor the couple I was with will ever go back to this Applebees; we frequent Applebees. If it wasn’t one thing it was the next, I truly hope that this place can get it together or either A) they get a team that can or B) shut it down and put something in that can. Very disappointed. My brother went to go to the bathroom and he said the bathroom was unsanitary- we did bring this to the greeters attention and it was taken care of.The only reason why they got 2 stars is because the shake was good, nothing was wrong with the first appetizer, and they took care of the bathroom issue. I typically tip a bare minimum of 15% usually 20+% (I have worked in the industry and understand) but this time I left a 7% tip. I have never been so disappointed in...
Read moreI came there to eat with my dad on 10/07/24 between 7:30pm-8:30pm. Initially the server appeared very friendly as I gave my order but the next time she came around our table was after I paid through the app and she came to ask for dessert. The service was awful. The food came to our table without any silverware or napkins. After we ate our first appetizer, I had to get up and ask for napkins to one of the other employee there who was setting up the utensils. I had to ask for silverware to the other server to eat our wings. I know wonton tacos may not need fork or spoon but some napkins would have been nice. The server did not ask for any drink refills or anything nor she came around to ask if we needed anything else. Eating out experience is more than just handing out food to the guest. Seems like after they remodeled this location, food and service is a hit and miss. The service is based on the mood of the servers. I spent $63.08 including tips. I regret handing out the $9.57 tip because that was the minimum. Should have given a big zero there but did not want to be rude. I dont know how much we have to spend here to get good service? Seems like they are just collecting remodelling fee at this point. Hopefully the management can take this comment positively and provide good feedback to the servers. Eating out experience is more than just the server bringing food to your table. The kitchen and prepare a great item for the guest but if the attitude of the server is not good, then that food loses its...
Read moreDrove 3 hours to meet a friend for lunch. We chose Applebee’s as the halfway point. When we arrived they were busy. We waited a while before someone even realized we were there. That was very understandable as they were busy. A nice young gentleman cleared a table and seated us. Our waitress came and asked what we would like to drink three of us had coffee and one had pop. When we finally got our coffee, it was cold. We told our waitress, and she almost seemed upset that she had to go and brew a new pot. She finally came and took our order and gave us our new coffee. she brought us our salads and walked away. We sat there for a few minutes before she came back and we had to ask for silverware. She said she would go and get it, but on her way, she stopped and took somebody’s order and other things and finally brought us our silverware. Then she disappeared again after our food came. Had to ask another server for steak sauce. People sitting across from us in the booth, had their food delivered and once again she failed to give them silverware. We waved down another server and asked him if he could please get silverware for those people. He was such a good person and a hard worker so I left him a tip. I did not leave one for our server who made it seem like it was a chore to wait on us. This is my first, ever bad experience at an Applebee’s. It is really too bad that one has to have that type of experience. We were not demanding and asked politely for things. I definitely will never...
