Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Marshall

I ate at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers for "friends and family" day. I was greeted kindly by the cashier's who offered recommendations for the prime rib steakburger as well as the new cold brew caramel crunch custard concrete. (Try saying that 5 times fast!)

Even with a packed house, there was plenty of seating inside the restaurant. You can also enjoy fresh air without sacrificed hospitality outside at the patio tables. I like that they have a wheelchair accessible table, so everyone can enjoy.

Now for the part everyone actually reads reviews to see: the food!

I ordered a prime rib steakburger with fries. The shoestring fries were crispy and hot! They come with a great amount of Freddy's special seasoning blend, but you can grab extra packets if you really love it! The burger comes as a double, but you can order it as a single, or add as many patties as you'd like! The steakburger patties are on the thinner side and I am a big fan of the crispy edges. I didn't have to wait long for my food.

I also ordered a cold brew caramel crunch custard concrete. (Whew) I got my dessert before the burger and fries, but I'm not disappointed by that. It was creamy and delicious with the perfect amount of crunch. You can also pay for your custard up front and ask for them to make it after you finish eating!

Last but not least, I'd like to share about the delicacy that is Freddy's Fry Sauce! It is definitely a signature flavor that you won't find anywhere else! The variety is nice as well. Freddy's offers fry sauce, jalapeno fry sauce, and smokey fry sauce. My favorite is the jalapeno for sure. It adds a delicious kick to the original flavor without being too spicy.

Overall, Freddy's is a premium brand that brings something unique to the community. They are more than just "another burger restaurant". Parking is hazardous, you have to back up from parking space into the drive through, had to park at Lowes, walked around to the front ( that has three entrances) two were locked and the one we entered in was held open by a chair .. the atmosphere is very cold and univiting a bunch of red chairs and tables and a few pics on wall .. walked up to the board menu , no one greeted us , when they asked for our order she was very curt and rude , acted like we were bothering her… food is horrible,cold hard shoestring fries , burger was the size of a jr. burger with very little meat on it … I hope this business makes it , I hate to see any business fail .. but you could not pay me to go there again .. also being a brand new place the floor was already dirty .. the time of our visit was 10:40 am on a Monday morning.. if you want a good burger with great service and a clean and friendly atmosphere stick with Jucy’s or What a Burger…. On the fifth day after their grand opening, we stopped in for a late lunch. The parking lot is poorly designed and rather small. There are three entrances to bring you into the dining room. There are two counter people to take your order, or you can submit a digital order to pick up. We ordered at the counter from the over head menu board.
